Third Juve star is 'provocation'

FIGC Vice-President Demetrio Albertini has warned Juventus not to act as if they’ve won 30 Scudetti. “It would be an act of provocation.”
The Bianconeri are on track to win the title this summer, which would be their 30th on the pitch, but only the 28th officially because the 2004-05 and 2005-06 editions were revoked in the Calciopoli trial.
Juve have made it clear they disagree with that decision and want to mark the 30th Scudetto with a third star on their shirts.
“There are rules and sentences from the sporting justice system that determined certain anomalous situations,” Albertini told Panorama magazine.
“I don’t want to take a position on who was right or wrong, but I will point out Ben Johnson had his Olympic gold medal revoked when he failed a drugs test.
“Putting a third star on the shirt would only be an act of provocation. Anyone can wear the jersey they want to, as only the Scudetto or Coppa Italia symbol is added for the reigning holders.”
