You told me to compare Milan with him and without him. There was no material to compare. Only a comparison between last season's Milan without him and this season's Milan with him is what I have at disposal.
Nocerino is everything but a game changer. He's having a very good season which doesn't make him a game changer. Just like Pepe isn't a game changer despite his good season for Juve.
Last year we have had midfield problems even worse than this year. Nocerino is the only player in the squad who is good enough to be a starter in midfield (van Bommel getting too old, Boateng inconsistent in midfield, seems better as a CAM).
Even if we want to go the comparison route, there is nothing to compare to.
Having said that, Nocerino fits incredibly well into Allegri's vision of the team and has influenced many of our wins this season.
We will see if he can become a true consistent game change or even world class.
Half, he was good but he's certainly fallen from the path that he was on before, I know injuries don't help but 1 goal in 10 and no assists isn't exactly fantasic.
There was actually a huge discussion over at Milan forums regarding Pato's latest drop in form. Many Milan fans got tired of him and want him out.
Pato is one of my favorite players at Milan and I think selling him would be a huge mistake. To keep him we need to solve two problems -
1. source of injuries
2. build an attacking line up that shows his best attributes (attacking line up not built around Ibra)
Dunno man, maybe it is as ou say it is, maybe it isn't.
Lots will depend on your answer to this question: Do you think Milan are Juve's worthy rivals who deserve our respect while Inter are the only enemies?
After what happened with Calciopoli, I think top Italian clubs should unite and force Inter out of the CL spots.
BTW, when I watched the first derby of Italia (Inter - Juve), I was strongly rooting for Inter to get trashed.
At the moment I have nothing but respect for Juve.
