One question for you, Milan fans: what do you think about Allegri?
And another: who do you rate as Juventus' best players?
1. I like Allegri's idea of building a dynamic, physically strong teams. But Allegri has many many problems in how he implements his plans.
His #1 weakness seems to be substitutions. He tries to make game changing substitution at ridiculously late times. Also, the actual subs are often mind boggling.
... so is his choice of players in some occasions... like playing Emanuelson as a CAM in a derby was questionable at least.. then there was also a complete 30+ old midfield vs fast Tottenham...
What I liek about him, is that he gives young players a chance. Merkel, SES all improved under him. Also, he was able to bring the best out of Cassano.
He is far from a top coach yet, given the results so far, he deserves more time with Milan.
2. I have watched many Juve games this season and for me it's really difficult to single out one of your players. Your team is very solid and works as a unit.
Besides that, Buffon is a level above other keepers in Italy, and I've seen games where he's made the difference.
I've also been impressed with Pirlo. Apart from loss of pace, he is close to being back to his best at Juve. Again, seen a number of games where he was decisive.
In midfield best player for me is Marchisio though.
In attack I've been most impressed with Matri. He has been quiet clinical and knows how to position himelf and convert chances.
