Depend what you mean doomed. Rest assured this formation is awful only-juve, they have played like shit (suprise suprise, mainly Zarate), they are ahead after a corner and opportunistic shot/deflection. Not because they are playing well, most of their attacks is started by Jonathan, otherwise they do fuck all, Forlan dropping too deep, because there is too much space between midfield and attack.

Most of the players are missing their positioning because they are confused by this formation. We can judge more when they get more used to it, but to say the least, this is a poor formation (together with so-so/poor signings) to play with. Would fear them more if they get back to their usual formations.

through the years Osman they've gained confidence, they've won 4 serie A titles in the last 5 years. That can't go away that fast.

People thought last season that Inter are screwed when things went bad for them under Benitez but they've bounced back to finnish 2nd in the league. That reminds me of our season back in 99 when we ended up finnishing 6 or 7th in the league and both Inter and Milan fans thought we're finnished yet we bounced back in a couple of seasons and we continued to dominate the league.

Point is, this Inter have too much confidence (specially in this crappy average league) to screw up big time and return to the same Inter of pre-calciopoli era.

Moggi was spot on: "Inter are finished. Their credit, obtained from Calciopoli, has run out. The team has turned from being a warship to a weak mob. To win again Moratti will probably need a new Calciopoli."

Yep. Miccoli took them down, and Forlan is celebrating his role in the loss off the pitch. Looks like the end...
