Why did you let Merkel go?

IMO he's very good and can easily become much better.
we didn't ... it's a co-own deal with Precious in return for half of El Sharaawy. Merkel has spent enough time with the 1st squad at Milan, now the guy needs playing time to polish his rusty talent. At Milan right now he will spend way too much time on the bench.

Didn't he go as part of the Boateng-deal?
not as far as I know as it's close to impossible to keep track of all the Milan-Genoa traffic. I believe he is part of the El Sharaawy deal.

What's your relationship with Leonardo after he joined Merdazurri?

Just curious to know, the Milanisti are split on this one.
I never had one :) ... joking aside, I am pretty impartial towards his going to Inter - not happy about it but not angry either. Can't condone Gattuso' antics vs Leo - Rino overreacted on that one, way to much.
Considering how he left Milan with Silvio's foot up Leo's heiny, can't blame him for joining Inter - he had to earn a living after all and coaching Inter was a great opportunity for a young coach like Leo, especially since he had a lot to prove ... luckily for Milan, he didn't prove Berlusconi wrong :).

Galliani and Leo stayed on very friendly terms thruout, though.

Leo are stupid. That's all i know and made it certain after he signed for PSG recently. He was a real Milanista and i am sure fans loved him very much, but why the hell he betrayed them just because of chance to be an Inter coach. I could understand he had a deal to be on the bench much more than just a half of season or something.. I know, experience and etc, but he could have found an other team easily to get it. But he just destroyed his own good reputation and now are leaving an Italy.

It is really interesting to see how Inter will operate now, they had the upper hand for the past years and now I am curious if they will go back to their old ways or they can really come up from their "disappointing" season.

Same here, IMO they've done a mistake in letting Leanardo leave.

But is it official ?

yep, not the smartest thing to do fro Leo by any means but I suppose his desire to prove Silvio wrong took the better of him there. I am probably in the minority of Milan fans and Milanistas altogether as I am not angry with him, let alone hate him or whatever, but this whole experience would still leave a bad taste.

I don't think it's a mistake, maybe they should have given him another role at the club but as manager they can definitely do much better.
yeah, they could have used him for his connections in Brazil. I was really worried they might smarten up and do that, as it would have made Inter a real rival on the Brazil market. Luckily, PSG offered Leo the DG job - like Galliani at Milan - and I suppose Inter were not ready to beat that.

Leo wasnt a great coach but he surely was at least as good as Allegri. They could have done better yes but Bielsa is a bigger gamble than Leo ever was.
Inter will flop

Serie A is sinking fast, TV rights for this league is less and less atractive, even the current buyers are proposing cuting down the price, fuck corrupt Italians and Moratti,Berlusconi etc, they can have their own little "Milano Serie A league", scandal after scandal

TV rights from where? They recently signed a record TV rights deal in Italy worth nearly a billion euros.

But I do agree, the league has taken a massive hit ever since Calciopoli. I couldnt give two fucks about the FIGC or the other teams in this league besides Juve.
