I guess I'm in favor of having a dynamic team when players do different things and can fit different roles. Wingers should run back, but I don't think they are required to play any defensive football whatsoever. I can mention Barcelona players, but I will be told how they play possession football, which is true. But there are some other clubs (Real) that play very offensive and yet do very well. They can field Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo, Xabi, Kaka or Benzema and they will do great (only different approach against crazy Barca). Yet some would say how their defense is amazing and how they defend great but they have Marcelo as their left back, somebody who's claimed to be awful in defense. To sum it up, I think defensive roles and their movement is vital for organization of the whole team, but midfield should have more freedom. DMs are becoming a past IMO, as box-to-box players are having more vital role nowadays I think, which is another good point how to focus central midfield. But when I see this:

GK

Defensive RB - CB - CB - Defensive LB

Workrate RW - DM - Regista - Workrate LW

SS - Poacher

I feel like throwing up.
Same here. Unless we get a world class player for one of the LW or SS role, I can't see this sort of system working. Pirlo will also not have the freedom to roam which is a mistake as well.

GK

Stay at home RB - CB - CB - Attacking LB

Destroyer - Regista - Water Carrier/Box to boxer

Wide winger - Target Man - Trequartista/SS

Trez was ditched by a club in a disrespectful way so I highly doubt Trez would even consider our offer at this point.

    Del Piero-Trezeguet till infinity :agree:

    Best partnership ever:touched:
well, one of the best, at the very least :D

they are both past their prime now and Trez is no longer a 20+ goal/season striker but having someone like Trez back would be very important from a motivation point of view inside the locker room, I think, considering he was part of the old guard at Juve and carries that winning mentality with him.
He could still be useful on the field to Juve but would be even more needed off the field given the "mentality" issues of the current team.

Good thing for Milan it's Marotta who's making the decisions these days

lol Klose scored one goal last season and the one before that he scored 3. He has been scheisse.
form is temporary, class is permanent :)
