I saw that earlier today and immediately connected it to Juve's style too.

The games being more open in CL will defo suit Juve and it will result with Juve doing well in Europe. The lack of individual quality will result with Juve not doing excellent.
We will need those two or three +20m eur players that Milan and Napoli have in attack/midfield and we don't.
agreed, we just need one or two game changers and the team could really conquer europe no exaggeration. Liverpool managed to win CL and make it to another final with an average squad but with a couple of game changers.

I think even Juve will play pretty well in Europe next season, precisely for that reason.
yeas, add the fact that conte is pretty good at adapting to other team tactics, and the fact that we can switch from 3 different formations, and it makes us a very hard team to play against.

We don't have to guess at all abou the way how to make competent squad for CL. We have a cruscial example under our nose in face of Maur's Merda. All they have needed to succed was a good motivator (we have such in Conte's occasion )! A stable consistent squad ( now we are eagering to creat such squad and doin well in in it) And the final step is to buy 3 top players, as Inter has purchased Lucio in def, Sneider in mid and Etoo in att...and that was it... with such performers even such players as Diego Milito who have been never considered as a superstar, are able to unleash their strongest features and give maximum benefits.

how is counter-attacking our style now ? it was for some time in the past but right now we rely on pressing the opponent in their half and holding possession (which is exactly the opposite of fast counters). we actually only counter when our first plan does not work (keeping possession) and we are pinned back. if plan A works, we would not even be in the position to counter, because we have the opponent pinned back in their half without them leaving much space behind the last line of defense and that is exactly the problem for players like krasic who need this scenario to excell.

It's more the games against the lesser Serie A teams I was referring to - the ones where teams are just sitting back and looking to frustrate.

The bigger teams allow more space because they are focused on winning games and not just on stopping the opposition.

You look at how Napoli struggled against Siena in the Coppa Italia, then see the ease with which they were able to open up Chelsea.
That reminds me of when Liverpool dismantled Inter Milan in the CL and then struggled against Fulham. So many factors come into the equation, it isn't that simple.

Can a coach manage two teams in one season? If not, could happen in summer, but he is not any different than Ranieri.
:agree:

AVB could get the boot in the next days with Rafa the Waiter taking his place. AVB or Dunga to Inter? Discuss :D

Yeah I meant for next season. I'm not sure why Inter would get of Ranieri now when they have such obvious problems with the squad.
cause it's much easier to change one coach, especially one with a proven losing record, than a whole squad.

Inter's players may not be as good as they were several weeks ago but their bad season is still more closely related to their coaches not getting the best of the squad available than anything else ... of course selling Etoo was a decisive moment but still ...

Juventus were definitely never as bad as this current Inter. Sure, its still possible for Inter to get a 3rd place spot but its very unlikely and the only reason why they have a chance is because like 7 troll wins they got. They're whole team is just performing awful and shameful. Yeah, Juventus had tough times too but Inter just plays such poor football and their players are playing so pathetically bad - we had a lot of upset draws in our bad seasons, they're just shockingly poor.

And they didn't need a Calciopoli to get this bad.

Inter need a new board with a plan first, after that they should get a coach. Thank God that won't happen since Moratti is there.

You can coach two teams in one season, but not two Serie A teams.

True, but then Juventus can never be compared to Merda in any way shape or form.

If they sack Ranieri I pray the rumors about Materazzi taking over as interim manager are true.

No way that would be anything but disastrous for them.
