Our vision is to try and get 3rd as quick as possible, that's why we fucked up on certain players like Pepe and Martinez unfortunately.

It's easy to build a decent looking young team when you have no ambition for top 3. Do you honestly think Roma will finish 3rd? Their best defender is Kjaer and he's shit.

Our actual roster blows theirs out of the fucking water. It's the coaching and tactical philosophy that ruins us.

In what way does it blow theirs out?

Roma's defense > Juventus' defense
Roma's midfield > Juventus' midfield
Roma's strikers = Juventus' strikers

They've upgraded their squad a lot by replacing Brighi, Perotta, Taddei, Greco, Riise and others. They did not build a new Chelsea, but they made a strong team even if they bought over 10 players they did great because it's not easy to do that.

I watched 4/5 times. He's in no way capable of leading a team, maybe in 2/3 years but not now. I fail to see this strong team. They replaced Mexes with Heinze who's not that good anymore. Kjaer is a joke like Bonnucci. They overpaid for Osvaldo, They have to Pay 30mil for Bojan if he turns out to be good wich he won't cause he's not that good. I don't see any foundation at all, Getting 2 promising youngsters, 1 over the hill player, 3 overrated players. That's no foundation. Like i said the only good deal they got is Pjanic and you could say Lamela if he live up to the hype.

Roma is the 5th biggest spender in this summer, and we are 3rd, I'm in no way satisfied with our Mercato, But no way Roma's was better than ours, Roma lost so many key players yet they didn't any upgrade.

I doubt Roma have the patience to do well. I see them struggling this year and you all know how they want to think that they're a big team made for success, even though all they have is 3 scudetti. It's Kjaer who will replace Mexes, not Henize.

Henize will be a back up and he's still great. He had very good season at Marseille too. He's better than Barzagli without a doubt.

What really is Roma's plan then? If they finish outside the top 5 this season (no European football) or even just the top 3--who cares about EL anyway, no money--which is very likely, I can't see them being able to make moves in the mercato which will take them to another level. The American owners don't seem to be as extravagant as we expected and still there's the FFP to limit that.
