:D

Nah I definitely believe the hype around Napoli is at the highest for 20 years. I can't understand why someone that would have presumably watched a lot of Serie A matches, decided to put Cavani in the team instead of Zlatan or Di Natale. It would have been understandable for someone else who just watches one or two Serie A games a year.

Most of this stuff is bullshit anyway, "best XI" "top 100 players". I recently saw a fourfourtwo list of the top 100 players and I kept thinking of the word "WRONG" for a lot of players.

Busquets was 17th ffs.
Lol I saw that list. Ibra was ranked 33 or something. It was absolute dogshit, I think the highest ranked Serie A player was Sneijder at 13 or so.

Yeah, that's actually a very good comparison, pretty much spot on.

And I liked Owen back in the days but I don't know, I don't think he's a player that can be relied on to solve matches. I just don't see him at the highest level, he doesn't add much to a team IMO.
I think he's a good finisher and has pretty decent instincts when he's around the box, but he doesn't suit this Milan team because I don't think he really compatible with Ibrahimovic.

Milan would probably do well to sell Pato for 30m before people realise he's not living up to the hype that was around him.

Molinaro on Milan radar

Milan could make a move for Cristian Molinaro of Stuttgart if Taye Taiwo leaves the club in January, the Corriere dello Sport reports.

The Nigerian international only transferred to Italy in the summer after his contract at Marseille had expired.

However, he’s had his difficulties in adapting to the Italian game and he’s not assured of first team football with the Diavolo.

His agent has admitted that the player will make a decision on his future next month given that there is interest in his services.

Should the left-back head out of Milanello, the Rossoneri may consider replacing him with Molinaro.

The 28-year-old, who has appeared for Italy, is currently playing his football in Germany after leaving Juventus in January 2010.

I don't find it funny, look how good Nocerino is doing and go look back at how much people laughed when Milan got him.
Those many goals that Nocerino scores are an accident. He won't continue.

On the other hand, Nocerino was a big potential in his youth, tipped to become an excellent DM. In Juve it didn't work for him but in Palermo he was doing very well most of the time. It wasn't a surprise that he'll do fine in Milan. The goals are a huge surprise, the performances aren't.
With Moli (I still love that guy for some reason and I think I will even if he plays for Milan) you just know what you get. And it's not too much that you get.
But it's funny that Moli might actually be improvement over what Milan has there. They will at least get a tireless runner who will cover every inch on the left side and is a fairly decent defender.

Molinaro too was a big potential in his youth, he was the best young player in Serie A the season before we got him. He has been doing good in Germany and a move back to Italy on the big stage will revamp him.

I disagree about Nocerino just having a lucky streak, as you said the guy had potential from day 1 but had an unlucky period with Juve. It's good that you mentioned he was good at Palermo and now the Milan move just added to it.

In the end, both Milan and Juve will have so many of each other's rejects :D

Aquilani, Nocerino, Molinaro vs Matri, Borriello, Storari (I'm not gonna count Pirlo, Pippo or Ibra as rejects).

Nocerino's goals are just icing on the cake. He developed into a good midfielder at Palermo and is a much better option for Milan then Ambrosini or MVB imo

I have to say I was one of those who laughed and mocked Milan for this transfer. I still don't think he is that good a player, but you cant deny him so far this season, regardless of all the goals he has scored. Looks very good value for money.
