Inter are now on 48 points with third place Lazio on 54 points. If Lazio get a couple of draws or a loss, and Inter keep snatching victories, they could be right in the hunt for the last Champions League spot by the Milan derby. I'll admit that before this weekend I wasn't really hopeful that Inter would be able to stop a supremely motivated Milan, but if they also have something to fight for, it could get interesting.

The Juventus test is coming up though. Roma are closing on CL spots, so they'll be motivated, and we have a bunch of teams that will defend with 10 men.

It is. I'm worried about the teams that will plant 11 men behind the ball, such as Cagliari, we're going to face a few of them still, and that's where we've been in trouble.
Lazio were having 10 men behind the ball the whole first half. I think we are better now then used to be in this type of play.

And we were missing a lot of chances. Marchetti was pulling off important saves, like Pegolo did once upon a time. Don't underestimate their ability to put everyone in the penalty area.

I'm not sure if Cagliari will do that at all. Neither will Atalanta. Last match at home or last match in the season, they won't need points, they'll more likely try to play football than park the bus.

The other teams we face until then could play with 11 behind the ball, though.

Atalanta won't, I know. Not sure about Cagliari, their coach would probably take a draw for job security instead of risking a heavy defeat if they open up.

Search for the "Red and Black Forums" and then see the serie A thread. Whenever we win, I just relax and start reading that thread. It manages to make the Juve wins twice sweeter.
:D I can't stand those idiots! I have never seen a bunch of more whiny morons in my life.
