Juventus can't finish 4th in quite possibly the worst serie a in the last 20 years. Just imagine what the task is going to be like when we have to finish 3rd? Inter and AC are guaranteed the top 2 spots, and with roma now having a lot of money to spend each summer, I cannot see Juventus playing champions league football for another 5 years.

And now with Roma's financial power the third place is almost impossible.
well I hope all the users who used to bash the others who supported the italian teams in europe are now happy.
I hope Juventus (if they make the europa league) actually give it a proper go this time

Mancini about Zlatan, Tevez and Balotelli:

"If Zlatan wants to come to City, I would immediately find him a place.” :xfinger:

“Carlos (Tevez) told us back in December that he wants to go to Italy.” :xfinger:

"Mario (Balotelli) is an ongoing bet, he will definitely stay. He has shown he has all the right qualities, but needs to do more, much more, to give a sense to his talent."

    Napoli was impressive, we disappointed.

This season Milan will cut it down from Seedorf, Nesta and Pirlo. They did a great job with transfers over the past year and now it continues with Mexes and Taiwo.

    Udinese too.
Juve and Sampdoria were the biggest disappointments when you compare how much they pay on wages and what they achieved. The guys who offered those wages and contracts didn't do a good job.
I wonder if there is a connection between Juve and Sampdoria :D

Of course there is. But people will say Samp fell apart only when the miracle worker left the building :seven:

    Inter threaten transfer boycott

Inter general manager Ernesto Paolillo threatened small clubs over the TV rights split. “If they take our money, we won’t buy their players.”
The situation is tearing Serie A apart, as five clubs (Inter, Milan, Juventus, Napoli and Roma) lost a vote to decide how the pay-per-view television rights would be divided up between the 20 sides.

“This split in the Lega will spread into a transfer market battle, because the big clubs could just decide to trade with each other,” declared Paolillo on Radio Crc.

“We can say that very openly. Transfers are negotiated with clubs you have a good rapport with.

“If on the one hand those 15 clubs take our money away from the five 'big’ sides, then we won’t buy their players, as that would give them even more funding.”

It is a very complicated affair and at this point the argument is not even over the way money is divided up, but rather the system agencies will use to decide which clubs have the more important fanbase.

“It’s not true that the five big clubs are against these surveys of fans, but rather against the criteria the 15 smaller outfits are forcing on the surveys. It doesn’t fit the reality of the situation,” continued Inter general manager Paolillo.

“Including the viewing figures is totally irrelevant. For example, for Inter-Chievo you get 1m viewers and they are divided equally between the clubs, without taking into account the precise number of fans who tuned in for each side.”

    Besiktas confirm Maicon offer
The Besiktas director of sport has told journalists “we’re ready to seal the deal for Douglas Maicon within two weeks.”

It has been reported numerous times that Inter are prepared to sell Maicon over the summer in order to fund their transfer strategy.

An offer from Real Madrid was rejected last season, but Jose Mourinho still wants that reunion and it could happen this time round.

Premier League sides are also said to be interested, but Turkish club Besiktas made a surprising statement.

“We’re ready to seal the deal for Maicon within two weeks,” director of sport Serdar Adali told Turkish CNN.

Besiktas are well-funded and already have Italian defender Matteo Ferrari at the club.
