No one hates Italians around here, but we hate shit Italian players. And lately it seems majority of Italian players are indeed crap.
All young players: Sirigu, Bonucci, Ranocchia, De Silvestri, Chiellini, Santon, Marchisio, Poli, Balotelli . Just the strikers and wingers of the new generation are poor.

Marchisio will be 25 in two weeks. He's young as a man, but not so young anymore as a football player. He's in his best years. :D
And Giorgio is 26.

You can't honestly compare those players with the older generation of Italian players !! Cannavaro, Nesta, Ferrara ==> Bonucci, Ranocchia :shifty: . Del piero, totti, Baggio, Vieri ==> Balotelli, Pazzini, gilardino  .

What matters the must is Juve's interest, and if we're gonna sign the likes of Gilardino and Pazzin,i can't see our team competing with the rest of Europ's best teams.

Why Ranocchia :shifty: ? He's a huge talent, even more than Bonucci. It's a bit naive to expect players like Nesta, Maldini, Baggio, Del Piero or Totti every generation.

Exactly, thats why we shouldn't be going after mediocre players just for the sake of being Italians!!

The current generation is obviously less talented than the previous so why over-spend on these guys instead of doing what the rest of Europe's top clubs are doing and Sign "real talents" regardless of their nationality....

They aren't the youngest but I meant this is more or less the new generation, post 2006 champions. Probably the ones who will be involded in the coming EURO championship. It's shallow to say Italy doesn't have talented players, Serie A and Italy just lack good wingers atm.

And Sirigu isn't overhyped, in fairness quality goalie who I hope to have at Juventus after Buffon retires.

Silvio Berlusconi has welcomed Antonio Cassano and believes a Milan that wins does the whole of Italy good.

The Italian Prime Minister was speaking from Borghesiana in Rome where Milan are due to train this afternoon.

Il Cavaliere was drawn on many things, but started by addressing Ronaldinho's future at the club.

“I am sorry for Ronaldinho who is the greatest player in the world with regard to speed of thought and execution, but it's his decision to return to Brazil.

“I am very happy with the arrival of Cassano who is the greatest Italian talent.

“A winning Milan does Italy good. Milan's players have the responsibility to win, first of all because this way they are happy and also because it makes the club, the fans, the President and even the politicians happy.

“When Milan win you see smiles in parliament, so a Milan that wins does the country good.”

Forza Milan! For the good of Italian football :touched:

Only because of this reason, one has to hate that scum of a club.

The other part was good too, they sold the best player in the world "dinho" and bought the best Italian player.
Yeah.

It's just sad to see the strength Berlusconi gives them in Italy as a club. Wonder why their dirty work almost always goes unnoticed.

Inter will be without goalkeeper Julio Cesar when they face Napoli on Thursday night in Leonardo's first match in charge since he replaced Rafa Benitez.

The Brazil international goalkeeper who missed a sizeable chunk of the first half of the season has suffered a light muscle strain in his left leg.

Wesley Sneijder and Philippe Coutinho will also be unavailable to Leonardo, while Samuel Eto'o is still suspended.

Inter will train at San Siro tomorrow afternoon. The last time they played at home was over a month ago in a 5-2 victory over Parma.
