Yes, our NT is great already but there is no respect for our league that is the reason for our sucess with NT. Maybe we dont have the best teams but a lot of talent that goes away for cheap. ilicic will change this. if dinamo does it then maribor should do something simmilar, albeit on a smaller level.

Palermo noticed Iličić and Bačinovič few days/weeks before the match. Actually they saw them when Maribor played against Videoton and Hibernian (opponents before Palermo). Beside Palermo, there were few more clubs interested in Iličić, including Milan, but after the first match Palermo made the right offer and Maribor accepted. It was done deal before the 2nd match but it was offical after.

So if it wasn't Palermo it would be some other club.

Palermo saw him in a direct game(s) against them, hardly scouting.

You could put Alen's question to any big club in Europe, it's ok buying lots of players for €2m here and there but you need to find space for them.
