Not sure about the assistant, but how the ref missed it is a miracle that only TIM can answer.
And the referee gave a foul which means that he saw the incident and he thought it's a foul. Really unbelievable decision by the referee to give a foul and not to card Eto'o for that.

Are there any legal grounds this incident not to be a subject of prova TV if the ref registers it in his report and writes that he saw the incident well but didn't think it's worthy of a yellow/red card?

'Cassano will never play for Samp'

President Riccardo Garrone has made his position very clear. “Antonio Cassano will never again wear the Sampdoria jersey.”

The club is in the process of a legal bid to terminate his contract for 'insubordination’ and the first meeting of the authorities to rule on the matter is set for December 3.

The initial attempt will be at reconciliation, but it’s already clear that is not going to happen.

“One thing is certain: Cassano will never again wear the Sampdoria jersey,” Garrone told RAI television.

“I am making this an issue of consistency, something I have never lacked in my life.”

If the contract is terminated, then Cassano could become a free agent in time for the January transfer window.

Among the clubs interested in taking on the Italy international are Juventus, Inter, Fiorentina, Palermo, Chelsea and Manchester City.
This whole thing will cost Samp dearly

They are showing the previews of our match on TV now, it is not funny how much Criscito got owned at Krasic's goal. He even tried to grab him but even then he was slow and missed him.

Don't worry. Lega Calcio will review the video and make the right call: they'll suspend Krasic for another two matches. :pado:

Well, he took off his jersey and had an offensive shirt under, so there's no surprise he would get a suspension.
I think the offensive note was written in invisible ink, and the subliminal message said, "Eto'o: your mother is a head-butter".

Forza Garrone, really. He's sticking his balls out on the table for what is bound to be a very unpopular decision with the fans and with their potential of qualifying for Europe this season. But he's standing on principles that players cannot be primadonnas.

Good for him. Somebody needs to stand up to these pampered millionaire cry-babies.
