Benitez completely sucked for Liverpool and after an English friend of mine told me he was completely horrible as well, I was so happy he went to Inter.

I still don't think it's all Benitez's fault though. They should have done better in the mercato. Why did they keep Maicon? They could have gotten 30 Millions for a 31 yrs old player in decline and why did they keep Milito? (Same as Maicon)

The team is old and worn out, which is why the injuries are piling up. They'll need a revolution very soon, which only benefits us. Here's hoping Moratti doesn't pull some amazing signings out of his arse in January and this is the end of the fabricated cycle for Binter.

Combine this.. with moggi winning the trial and the scudetti revoked and returned to us and you'll have their old guard mentally broken to shatters

Regardless of their injuries, the team they had out should have still beaten cheivo, unless your telling me that Cheivo side had a stronger first 11.

Inter will be the first cl champions out of the group stages next week

Eto'o has a pea head, it's impossible it would ever hurt anyone.
He still should be hit with a big fat ban though, although he probably won't be.

Football often doesn't work like that though, 11 players who play together all the time will quite often beat 11 better players collectively who don't.

And Eto'o was smiling after that
Smiling is a great tactic for a player.

Ever noticed how often Ronaldinho gets away with throwing his elbows around and committing lots of petulant fouls?

Never gets punished because the referee because he's nice, smiley Ronaldinho and would never do anything like that, unlike those nasty players like Melo or Chiellini.

Exactly and that's where bad management comes intro i and hence, Benitez. At the end of the day that Inter Milan team put out should have beaten Chievo, it had the capabillity. Inter Milan's team is huge, so they cant hold it as an excuse. Benitez is there problem, and he'll be given the door soon.
Damage has already been done tho, we'll get a new serie a champion soon

Moratti is part of their problems this year too. Benitez wanted new players in the summer but Moratti made it clear that there is no need to change anything in a team that won the treble.
At first glance it might sound logical, but what JayJay says now and what he and many others (including some Inter fans I know or read on the net) were predicting becomes true now. Even if they kept Mourinho I doubt that some of the Inter players would have shown the same motivation and desire to give their best. On the other hand, Inter getting killed by injuries after the exhausting season isn't a shock at all.

Milan made the same mistake after winning CL 2007. Many teams change a lot and invest heavily after winning the CL. Inter didn't and it's starting to cost them a lot.

Also the coaches to take over from Benitez are laughable, Rijkaard, don't get me started, Leonardo is a decent coach, but that's about it and Dunga got owned the entire World Cup and it isn't a mistery why he sits at home.

benitez not buying players is a blessing in disguise, after the awful players he bought I think he needs to keep far away from money as possible. True players might not be as motivated, but can you really justify being out played by Chievo? The point of the matter is that although you can argue that they have declined through quality, it still does not justify the complete abysmbal performances shown by Inter this year. They still have plenty of world class players, had this been a solid team they're playing then fair enough. But struggling in a league they have been walking for the last 5 years is inexcusable

Not that im going to complain, I kinda which Juve took advantage of this situation, if only we had Krasic playing thise games he had missed and we would probably be topping the table
