They can't ban Eto'o. He didn't dive. He slipped on the ball. They can only punish the referee, I'm afraid.

Btw, Eto'o must be the biggest moaner in the league.
Is this your opinion, or there is a rule like this? cuz this is bullshit, didn't they say that Krasic should have told the referee that it wasn't a penalty? then Eto'o should have said the same. He faked it, he didn't tell the truth, and then he celebrated it. I see no difference..

he deserves at least a 1 match ban for that.

The rules are funny seriously, if referees see the dive, he books the player, if he doesn't see (which is only referee's mistake) then the player gets banned for two matches, in other words direct red card.

what is the solution? video technology, but no, they won't introduce video technology, so they control the league, simple as that!

FIGC press release

During today's game there was an episode that lead to a penalty to inter merda and therefore the ball that tripped Samuel Eto'o will be suspended for 3(three) games and can't be pumped for a month.

They can't prove intention like they did in Krasic's case.

If you remember last year (against Lazio I think) Del Piero tried to shoot the ball, missed it and fell, without being touched. He didn't dive and didn't try to win a penalty. He simply missed the ball. The ref gave a penalty and, of course, Del Piero wasn't banned. That was because there was no intention to win a penalty.
It's up to the player to show fair play or not and tell the ref that it wasn't a penalty.
In Krasic's case there was clear intention to dive, trick the referee and win the penalty.

Now, I don't know what's right or wrong, but I'm telling you how will the authorities look at this situation. Only the ref can be punished for giving a penalty for something that clearly wasn't a foul.

I thought the ball was punished already, you missed that? May it rests in peace..

All these rules are nothing but hypocrisy, they can rephrase the situation the way they want it. It's sickening, seriously..

both of the cases are equal, Eto'o s situation was even worse (influencing the result, plus celebration), but he will escape it. You or anyone else can't convince me about these rules. There is no single bit of logic in these rules..

But seriously, someone explain me this crap. If a player dives gets a yellow card if the referee saw it, then how come it turns to two match ban if the referee missed it? Then shouldn't referee show straight red card if he cought the player diving? :shifty:
