Now Antonini with a great chance.

JJ, I don't think this is only about Parma's bad defense. Just look at these balls Pirlo, Seedorf and Dinho send in the box.
I hope it's an one off and Milan won't continue playing this well.

The defence isn't just that back four, the midfield is not even trying to close down Pirlo or Seedorf and there is so much space, perfect for Milan.

Milan dominated Parma and should have scored least 4 goals. Parma has been piss poor but it sure looks like Ronaldinho and Pirlo are up for it tonight.

As far as I remember he was always missing many clear chances. Kinda like Iaquinta.
But he creates way too many chances for himself and he finds himself in scoring positions a lot. This last chance for example was typical Zlatan. Created the chance on his own and fucked it up three times.
It comes costly in big matches if he misses the chances he gets, but not all teams are big so he easily ends up with 20 goals per season.
Yeah he has always missed some, one reason his CL record is not very good (some people I know who don't watch anything but PL wonder why he is rated so highly), but recently it's something else. Maybe it's mentality, as if in this team he can afford to lack a bit of concentration as they will keep coming.

@ JuveJay

This is why it's too dangerous when your an Ibra dependent team, when he goes with one of his childish "I can't be bothered today" it ruins the whole thing

booyaaa, just switched on to milans game and then i saw that great goal by pirlo ... simply majestic shooting technique... the ball did not spin one centimeter while flying 30 yards or something into the top corner of the goal.

There is another man who misses many clear chances but still ends up scoring +20 goals a season.
so you could say they are "pepe'ish" ? getting results by work ethic and not pure brilliance ?

not really, since ibra has great quality and etoo does too, but its funny that even those great quality players do fail alot in decisive situations.

in the end if you compare it to a player who plays on the wing (like pepe) and who has 4 clear cut chances to play a pass to someone unmarked in the box you would blast him, but when ibra has 4 one on ones against the keeper and fails you dont blast him, because you know he is capable of doing it with his great technique

pretty much double standards, don't you think ?

too bad that giovinco is injured ... i would have liked to see how he copes against the old men of milans defense ... that actually a quite good description/nickname for milan ... gli vecchi signori
