Serie A players threatening to strike on 25th/26th of September.

Some stuff about the length of the winter break and the size of fines for players who go out partying without permission.
1 of the main sticking points regards health insurance.

Under the previous agreement which has expired, players choose which doctor(s) they want to see and the club foots the bill.

Clubs now want the power to choose which doctor their players see, and will still cover the cost. However, if the player refuses the clubs choice he is responsible for paying for his own treatment.

Basically, the players don't want to dip into their millions for medical care. The clubs aren't refusing to cover their medical bills, just that they choose the doctors, which is more than fair considering they pay their salaries and are more or less assets of the club.

Boo-fucking-hoo. They have it so tough.
