I wouldn't be too sure of that, he sure has the talent, but his temperament is questionable, a players mentality is almost as important as his talent.

The reason i don't expect him to have a good first year other than the obvious "its a completely different league" argument, he might not get as much chances as he hopes. Competition for places at City is going to be fierce with the big names they have at their disposal, they won't be waiting for him to adapt, if he doesn't deliver fast, he might find himself warming the bench.

You may be right, certainly the teams are underperfoming in Europe, but Italians always do these days, the standard of their play, especially Palermo and Napoli rivals I think the likes of Spurs and Villa.

Hopefully, Napoli can go far in the EL with us, and Samp can get the group stages with maybe Inter and Roma going into the knockouts.

Overall the decline is slowing at a reasonable pace, not quick enough to avoid stagnation of the league but noticeably.
