He didn't mention Pato?

What about the three thousand fans who protested his presidency of their beloved club? :howler:
Milan president Silvio Berlusconi unveiled new coach Massimiliano Allegri at Milanello and the mandate was clear as he delivered a rousing speech in front of government ministers and club sponsors who were present at the press conference.

First the chief told fans outside the ground who had been protesting against his leadership to tone down their grief following years of investment.

"I tell those who protest that in seven years we have spent €461million, an average of around €60m per annum. No other Italian club has done similar to us," he told the press.

And he told Allegri what he expects from the team this season, hinting that Ronaldinho is very much part of the plans, despite his constant links away from San Siro.

"His [Allegri's] mission is to win everything in all the competitions we enter. I want an offensive Milan that plays spectacular football and makes fans enjoy themselves," he continued.

"We are the most widely recognised club and the one that has won more international titles than anyone else, more than Real Madrid."

Transfers, Ronaldinho, Thiago Silva

Amidst speculation that Ronaldinho could be bound for Fluminense or LA Galaxy, Berlusconi hinted that the Brazilian is still a part of the Italian club's plans, as is young striker Pato.

"We have a squad that is competitive enough to challenge the other teams," he said. "What teams have players like Ronaldinho, Andrea Pirlo, Pato and Clarence Seedorf in their squad?

"Ronaldinho is in my opinion the greatest player of all time and he has to be placed in the right situation to score as he has an eye for goal. He has a quick head. He is Milan's number one attraction.

"I have a personal agreement with him. He will be at Milan even after he stops playing.

The president also stated that he has rejected a bid from Spain for his star centre-back, Thiago Silva.

"We have had offers from Real Madrid but we turned them down," he claimed. "We have a squad of players that costs us quite alot, but we want to continue winning.

"We want to keep Milan as a winning squad together."

Sorry for being impolite , Dusan but you have been exaggerating everything , Roma , merda , Kolarov etc but saying Bonucci is average and Chiellini will never be one of the best ?

It's so fucked up that Rannochia costs less than Bonucci.

:sergio:
He can still cost much than Bonucci though. Inter just bought his half for 6.5m which means for present value his full value is 13m. But if he perform good the price can increase..

Present Value: Bonucci 15.5, Rannocchia 13m.. I think it's fair based on hard injury on Rannocchia last season. I don't know what kind of injury it is but buying Rannochhia now is still a gamble and we don't have luxury to do that. Inter has it because they team has been good and don't need much investment to spend to improve their team

lol in what way did I say that about Roma and Inter? If I said that Adriano will bang in goals that doesn't have to mean I have them as my Scudetto winners. And I don't remember anything good being said towards Inter from my behalf.

Yeah but that's the thing. I never said Bonucci was average, I only said that he had an average season and that Rannochia played a lot better, which is a fact and not an opinion in this case.

I still think the same though. Kolarov can be one of the best, not players but left backs. If you disagree, name me some who can do better. While that's the point, there aren't many left backs around. He even was the best left back in the league, one of Mourinho's favorite, it's not like I hyped him up for nothing because he deserves to be there.

As for Chiellini, he's a great defender, really great. Now, I'd love if he stays here for a long time but again I'm giving my opinion when I say that he'll not stay here for a long time. He'll probably renew his contract but he could leave next season, it's not like I'd be happy about it. Yet again I don't think he'll change much in the future as I think he has reached his potential already. He's more bully of a defender. Despite his PhD he's not using his brain much on the pitch and something like that can't be improved easily. He makes many mistakes behind, especially when it comes to passing and rushing when there's nobody next to him. He's not calm and he's not that good with the ball as his technique is pretty bad. So far there are many defenders who do better than him overall IMO.

Did I change? :shifty: I just express my opinion, mate. If I don't say "Chiellini is the best player around and we're strongest in the league" doesn't have to mean I don't love the player or Juve as much as you or any other do. I'm just saying my opinion on it and saying what I think it's fair. Still, I never said I'm right when it comes to that.

Look, I do see your point. If both of them were great then your point would valid. But the thing is that both of them have never played on the same level and I don't think any club back then even wanted Bonucci. He became an attraction aftere Rannochia's injury, as he played in his shadows.

I do think Bonucci will be good for us. I don't know why is it so hard for people to understand my point. I was only questioning his price, which looks extremely hyped up after one average season at Bari.

I'm trying to figure out how he's gonna line up with inter this season.

If he insists on playing wingers
    JC
    Maicon/Santon--Lucio--Samuel--Zanetti
    Mascherano--Cambiasso
    ???--Sneijder--???
    Milito

Maybe he would use Eto'o as a winger.

    W/o wingers
    Mascherano
    Motta--Cambiasso
    Sneijder
    Eto'o--Milito
