Maicon says he wants to play for Real Madrid. I guess that is the negative side of signing foreign players.

I honestly don't get why people want to play for Real Madrid. The city isn't all that, their style of football isn't even that attractive and if you play bad for a while then they treat you like shit. I can understand why players want to play for Barcelona cause its a winning team, they are playing great football that I think any player would enjoy being part of and the city is great.
Barcelona is a winning team only if we look back 5 or 6 years. Madrid is a winning team if we look back 50 or 60 years.

Yeah pretty much sums the whole thing. No one can ignore Madrid's history just because they've been shit for the past 6-7 years.

To the majority of players in the world, Real Madrid is the highest point they can get in their careers.

Yeah Mourinho sees Sergio Ramos as a central defender, I bet he'll never even play him then when it's goodbye they'll do the same he did with Matrix

well Santon on the right and Chivu on the left would be great, I just hope Zanetti stops being so good and retires

But then again, Inter selling Maicon and perhaps Milito means LOTS of money, they could buy anyone with that

lol. well I used to laugh at the 15M Quaresma deal until our 45M on 2 Brazilians ;p

But with Benitez in Inter he won't have much control over transfer, the one time Moratti refused to buy a player it was Quaresma, and he was right
I don't think he'll let Benitez get Torres for 50M or something that big
