Sampdoria paid 2.5m eur to get rid of Cassano
They got 12m eur+ half of Biabiany for Pazzini.

Garrone sold his two best players for 9.5m+half of Biabiany (lets say 4m). That's around 13-14m eur for both of them. Great job
At least we're not the only club with dumb business men.

Del Neri's right, we never make it to the Coppa final. It's stupid to blame him for losing this year.
With all due respect, but what you say is BS. It's not the fact that we were eliminated from Coppa but it's the defeatist attitude DN is showing. He doesn't realize that he's not coaching Chievo anymore.
We might end 7th again this year. Then next year if we end 7th Del Neri can say again how he shouldn't be blamed for not making the top 4 (top 3 will be required, actually) and it's not like we made the top 4 in the previous seasons. We should be satisfied that we're not doing worse than previously.

I'm guessing you didn't pick up on my sarcasm? :D

It was such a stupid thing to say. He is our coach so he has to care about whatever result we get this year. He has to feel responsible for the losses and the failures. What is that comment even supposed to mean? Because we don't get to Coppa final every year ... so what? What does it mean? Is he trying to say that he is not to blame because Juve ain't going to Coppa finals every year? Bullshit. I don't think we are used to being humiliated against Parma at home every year either. What funny logic.

I'm really going to hate this man. Loser.

:agree:

This is one of the worst excuses I've ever heard from a coach. I really lost a lot of respect for Del Neri; I hope he changes his attitude fast because a coach with this kind of mentality does not belong here, frankly.

Even better statement from the same interview was where he said that Udinese might be doing great but Juve won only 2pts less than them in the last two matches, which isn't too shabby.

Or the fact that he thinks we should be given praise for our 6th spot cuz Napoli and Lazio are being praised for their season. This man doesn't know what kind of expectations there are for a team like Juventus. He's clueless.

That was great too

And what about his master plan to stay close to the leading teams and then when the time comes to push hard and reach the 4th place?
He's a genius.

You know we're in big trouble when our own coach compares our results to Udinese and is impressed by the fact that we're kind of close to being as good as them.

Maybe the yellow print on the back of the Juve shirts are deluding him into thinking he's still at Chievo. :disagree:
