I was talking to a guy whose friend is a Milan Ultra... :D I'm not kidding.

He said that Pato isn't as well liked in Milan as you would think. They think he's stupid and he keeps getting injured because he's bulking up too quickly from steroids.

He also said that Milan planned to get Zlatan and Balotelli while they were at inter but in oreder to do so they had to move via Barca and Man City respectively because they obviously couldn't go directly from inter. Raiola is the agent of them both, right?
I know that mate, but the management likes him.And we probably have the most obsessed management in the world,if they like a player they wont care what the fans say.

Il agree that if a deal for Ballo can be made,Pato will most likely be shipped to Real or Barca,or even City.

P.S: were rich,were just cheap.

It seems you forgot the 6-1 at San Siro
This can go in circles for a while:lol:

Milan always has 4 strikers,Pippo is dont and wont be counted as the 4th anymore.
As do Juve and many other teams. But the 4th striker is usually someone who doesn't mind the bench and who gets to play much less than the rest. If Milan sell Pato and get Cassano, they will also get someone cheaper to play as the 4th striker.

Zlatan`s wages are covered from the new sponsor deal we have.

Were fine on wages .Cassano wont be getting anywhere near what Dihno gets. The transfer fees for Zlatan +Boateng will come from the money generated this season.

/end football manager logic
This is not as simple as you think. In 2007 Milan won the CL and still they didn't generate enough money and they couldn't buy. You had enormous wage bill and it cost you dearly. Right now you're again on huge wages.

Like I said, in a hypothetical scenario that Milan gets Cassano, then you can be sure that in the summer both Pato and Dinho will be gone (Dinho might leave in January already).

@ Salvo --- Milan won't sell Pato just to buy Cassano. It's not "Sell Pato in order to buy Cassano". I think that they're planning to sell Pato for a while now. It's "Buy Cassano as a replacement for the guy we want to sell".

Milan will probably want to buy Zlatan and Boateng. That's gonna cost them around 30m eur only for the transfer fee. Then you have the huge wages Zlatan gets. To fund all that they will probably need to get rid of some others with big wages and get money by selling players too.
Selling the always injured Pato, letting Dinho and his big wages go will cover the amount they need to spend for Zlatan and Boateng. Cassano (for free?) will actually replace Pato and Dinho.

I have no idea if that's their plan, but if it is, it's not a bad one.
That's what I also think, Pato will be used to cash in.

Why on earth would Chelsea (or Real Madrid?) try to solve their problem with a injury prone player who is mostly injured during the season? Not the wisest of choices.

Hype !! Thats what milan directors are really good at. Remember they've managed to sell an injury prone Kaka to Real Madrid for 67 millions !!

They're really good at marketing their players, thats for sure....

Milan Want To Sign Antonio Cassano, But We Can't Afford Him - Adriano Galliani

Adriano Galliani is concerned Milan won't be able to complete the Antonio Cassano transfer from Sampdoria because Real Madrid want cash...

Milan chief Adriano Galliani is trying to curb enthusiasm regarding Antonio Cassano, and while he admits discussions are evolving for the Sampdoria ace, the €5 million clause imposed by Real Madrid has seen transfer traffic hit a red light.

It emerged on Thursday that Milan were the driving force behind Cassano's Sampdoria exit after reports prefigured the San Siro club had struck a deal.

Galliani though has other ideas. Unless Real Madrid waive the €5m clause - inserted in Cassano's Samp deal in 2007, and payable if he leaves Marassi before 2013 - Milan will declare themselves out of a deal.

"Cassano replaces Filippo Inzaghi, even though they have different characteristics. In any case, the deal is not done like many have been saying. We have to see what Samp are asking and the agreement with the player," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

"Also, we have to understand who will pay Real Madrid the millions they are asking because it will certainly not be Milan."

Some team is going to get very lucky with Pato. It's just a matter of time before his muscular issues are solved (after all the guy was still growing when he started to play professional football and it's only normal that he had 2 very difficult years).

:agree:

However, whoever gets him needs to play him centrally, because he is wasted when played wide.

Serie A to go on tour

Serie A League chief Maurizio Beretta has admitted that some top-flight games may one day be staged abroad.

“It isn’t an immediate objective, but we need to look at innovative projects which will help add value to Italian football,” he stated.

“Therefore it is a possibility that will have to be considered, that and a number of other ideas that we are working on.”

The project of taking a small number of domestic games overseas is one based on the American model which has seen basketball and American football ties played outside of the USA.

“It would obviously be necessary to arrange the fixtures, get the clubs and host countries on board,” continued Beretta.

Should the idea be approved, then the Far East is already being considered as a possible destination for Serie A football.

“It’s not a coincidence that the Italian Super Cup will return to China,” continued the official.

“There is a demand for Italian football over there, given that they admire it on a sporting and economical level.”

It's just a matter of time before he's wearing lipstick and a push-up bra and starts doing drag queen shows in São Paulo.

Sounds crazy and interesting.
Sounds like even fewer fans than they have in their home stadia.
