Wouldn't it be great if inter miss out on CL. The loss of revenue from that added to the debt they already have, plus the large compensation package for Benitez when he gets sacked :D Oh, so sweet.

They won't miss out though, the league will make sure of that :(
You can keep on dreaming and add to that a compensation for Calciopoli ... even with all of that they won't be affected when they have Moratti on top.

they won't be able to depend on Moratti anymore next year
Inter will have to make a profit on their own or at least balance the books
I look forward to that rule altough I fear that those billionaires will find ways to outsmart regulations

How many times we heard that here, but they are getting better and better. Even though I would like that you guy are right, but I'm afraid it's just wishful thinking.

You really think their defense can sustain constant pressure throughout the season? Teams will expose their gapping flaws & will leave them wanting. The only way Milan will win the scudetto is if they seriously bolster their defense with solid defenders.

Or if Inter's injury problems continue.

GdS: Gene Gnocchi's column

Moratti responds to Totti and denies having stolen the scudetti: "I still have the reciepts"

Suspicions on Morganti after the derby, Unicredit lowered his mortgage

Fini: "Italy is standing still, and is torn to shreds". Berlusconi: "Let's give Prandelli confidence, he's an excellent coach"

We deserved more, it was the referee's fault (Mazzari, after every dropped point)

Surprisingly Milito was excluded from the shortlist for the Ballon d'Or. Mourinho: "The absurd thing is that not even I was nominated"

(From yesterday) Tonight Ibra plays his ex team. As always.

Good news for Inter, the ball that tackled Eto'o against brescia is suspended for three games.

Ranieri has explained why Adriano didn't come off the bench: you can't play with two balls.

Leonardo proves his loyalty to Milan by saying he could never coach another Italian team. Inter, on the other hand...

Mourinho: "I could even come back to Italy. As the Pope..."

Ferrara's first words as the coach of the U21: "No matter how bad I do, I can't get relegated here"

We're waiting for the first call-ups for the new U21 of Ciro Ferrara. After the ex Juve coach said to be inspired by Marcello Lippi, we're expecting the call-ups of Billy Costacurta, Doni Zoff and Totò Schillaci.

Zamparini changes his mind: he won't sell the club, but fire himself

Duel between Milan and lazio: polemics between Ibrahimovic and the eagle about who has the larger beak.

Post game comments of Milan-Chievo, Ibrahimovic confesses: "Own goal? It was deliberate, since I was a little boy I have always supported Chievo"

"This one's better than Messi" (Lotito referring to Carrizo, Radu, Rozenhal, Brocchi, Lichtsteiner, Matuzalem, Meghni, Zarate, Cribari, Diakithè, Simone Inzaghi etc etc)

Seedorf: "When I criticized Milan's formation I wasn't criticizing Milan's coach, but Allegri"

Berlusconi: "Allegri is a fantastic assistant coach"

After Milan have gone through their rough patch, Galliani said that "The coach was never questioned. The one questioned was Allegri"

Security brief at Appiano Gentile: an unknown man easily got through security and showed up for Inter's daily practice session. The unknown man claimed his name was Amantino Mancini"

The journalist Paolo Colombo declares that: "Juve have a player of high quality who's gay". Delneri immediately responds: "Impossible! At Juve I have no players of high quality!"

An old one from last season:
Galliani: "Reinforcements? The coach decides. Then, hopefully, I'll ask Leonardo's opinion as well"

Their 2 CB's are pretty good. Dare i say, they're probably the best ATM in serie A. Their fullbacks are average but they still can manage to win games with them. Their attackers are probably the best in the league (on bar with Inter IMO).

Biggest advantage for milan this season is the Depth of their squad. There are plenty of options for them in almost every position. Something they didn't have in the past years. Milan have a good chance to win the league IMO and their direct rival is likely to be Inter.

Their defense is putrid & their midfield isn't anything to write home about. The only department they can feel absolutely comfortable with is their attack. Other than that, i wouldn't say they have great squad depth.

Your bench players should maintain a certain degree of quality as the first team players would but their midfield & defense would certainly be left wanting.

Milan has the best player in Serie A who has proven he can rape Italy and their attack will rape the small teams all season. If Pato and Inzaghi didn't get hurt they would have been clear favourites.

You can win a scudetto by killing small teams all season. At the same time they'll probably get raped in CL and be able to focus on Serie A down the stretch.

That's all good but their attack won't & can't fire on all cylinders throughout the season. Their defense will cave in & they will be caught on the counter, it's bound to happen.
