It's just you.

Inter's is better and Roma also have a pretty great midfield.

Milan's is slow, but still top class.
Roma? Pizarro is their best player these days, I'll give him that. But I still think he's too inconsistent and loses the ball deep in midfield a lot. De Rossi has been shite for a while and based on form, wouldn't start at Juve. Brighi wouldn't either. Taddei?

At least our midfield has top 4 quality and quantity now.

Gone are the days of having to rely on Brazzo and Nocerino to make things happen whenever someone (read: Camo and Zanetti) was injured.

De Rossi wouldn't start at Juve?
If not for his name and reputation, no.

De Rossi is still a very good player.

Pizzaro is one of the best passers in Europe.
He is, but his form is shit.

And I know Pizarro can pass but he's not very all rounded.

And have you folks seen Roma's midfield as a unit? Well, they don't really have one.

I think Our midfield has more depth than any team in Serie A. In terms of quality, we're not very far from the top. Juve, especially recently, have really improved in the middle. Aquilani is beginning to exhibit some top class quality. Melo is developing into a star man for our side. Marchisio is steadily finding his place in the team. Sissoko is great but just can't find a spot in this starting 11. And I think that's how you know how much we've improved this season.

It wasn't a long time ago when the absence of Sissoko meant disaster for Juve. Our midfield was completely lost without him. Now, we've significantly improved. In fact, our center midfield is so good that Del Neri would prefer playing an extra CM out wide(Marchisio).

I'm going to try my best to show how much we evolved in the last 3 years in that department.

I think it was Almiron Tiago Marchisio Poulsen Sissoko -> Melo Marchisio Sissoko Poulsen -> Aquilani Melo Sissoko Marchisio.

Compare that to Roma's Pizarro De Rossi Brighi Taddei.

Or Milan's Gatusso Pirlo Flamini Boateng.

Or Inter's Cambiasso Stankovic Muntari Motta.

Personally, I think if Melo continues growing with every game. And Aquilani stays fit and regains his old form, Momo regains match fitness, and Marchisio stays consistent. I'd say we would easily have the best midfield in serie A.

Much appreciated.

Red how did you think Juve played today? I did not see many posts of yours in the match thread.
The fact I decided to go and play golf instead of watch the second half should suggest I've more confidence in this Juve than last season's one.

The movement of the ball and the players' movement off the ball is good.

Juve still need to work on preventing counter attacks. There was the one today that Storari made a good save from. Juve had enough players back to deal with it, but the organisation was poor. That's an improvement on previous games when there haven't been enough players back, but it still isn't good.
