Since 2005–06, if two or more teams end the season with the same number of points, the ordering is determined by their head-to-head records. In case two or more teams have same total points and same head-to-head records, goal difference becomes the secondary deciding factor.

I think the pressure is off. If we had lost tonight, it could affect the players' morale, and if Genoa had won, it would have added one hell of pressure. After this "more than acceptable" performance, I think we can start playing football, and the results might come easier than before. Fiorentina has tougher games to play, specially against Lecce, and a draw is possible in Milan, almost impossible for them to win 3 matches.. While Genoa (which I think kissed wave goodbye to CL dreams) has 3 matches left against 3 relegation battlers, Chievo, Lecce and Torino..
Sadly the rats will make the CL spot and not Genoa..

But the chances are small. 10-20% i think. And most probably we'll be guilty for that and we won't win the remaining matches.
Lazio match is very hard to win, it's draw at most. And I don't see them losing points after this, well it all depends on next match Udinese it's the key match for them, if they win it, then they are second.
Crazy situation, we can end top 2nd or bottom 5th. Nothing is over. But I bet things will go back to bad again for us, Milan match was a special match, they won't fight like this in remaining matches. my prediction is that the table (top5) will stay like it is.

Don't fool yourself Alen there is a better chance of ending 4th than 2nd.

Tacchinardi wasn't blasted because what he said was impossible, but because of the way he said it (he looked as if he wanted us to lose tonight and lose the third place) and the way he underrated our players.
If Milan beats Udinese then they are second for sure. My hope is that Udinese will take pts from Milan while we beat Atalanta and Siena. Then in the last round Milan will have 1 or 2 pts advantage (if they beat Roma, that is) and they will play away at Fiorentina. Here it's very important if Fiorentina will need any pts at all. If Genoa are still behind them and Fiorentina must not lose, then it's possible that Milan won't win.
As for our match against Lazio....yeah, it's gonna be tough. The problem is, Lazio will play the Coppa final this week. I hoped the final is at the end and it will force Rossi to rest the best players.
Still, if that match is a must win for us and Lazio play for nothing, we can win it for sure.
