i think thats debatable to be honest dru. i think he does add to the team but not to the degree that he makes this inter anything special. i mean look at his chelsea u could clearly see the effect he had on that team sth u cant really say the same for regarding inter. i still think any average coach would've taken inter to where they r now. the only reason they are leading the pack is the simple fact they have a really good squad with an even better bench so they dont have to worry about injuries or bans they have the suitable replacement who is as good if not better.
They won the Scudetto's with Mancini. Mourinho just inherited the winning squad, although this year it seems the competition is little more strong. Mourinho has done nothing special in Inter. They will crash out of the CL early, just like Mancini's Inter. Mourinho is overrated. As for our squad, it is not built to win titles and even Lippi would do nothing more than Ranieri, who is more than competent enough.
the difference between mancini and mourinho is not marginal, it is incrementally substantial. like i said, mancini barely won the scudetto last season, would any of you like to take a bet on how many pts ahead they will finish the season with? i say 9 solid. and the reason why i say that is because of mourinho. and what is most disturbing about all that is that he doesn't care about winning the scudetto, he only cares about the CL.

i guarantee you that if we had mourinho we would be back under the sun in both the CL and serie A.

the coach makes a difference and mou is arguably the best coach in the world IMO, and rightfully so. but lets see how he fares this year and then we can assess. as of now his club leads serie A, and has a good (but extremely tough) chance to beat the reigning champs of europe. i'd say he's doing a good job thus far

Mourinho impressed me greatly when Juve went through the entire calciopoli scandal & refused to purchase any of our players as he stated Juve are a great club & deserve respect. Now he's turned into a complete douche but still an entertaing douche none the less.

Moggi: Mourinho proves my point! Friday 6 March, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Luciano Moggi says Jose Mourinho “could be my lawyer,” as his actions “prove nothing has changed in football.”

The former Juventus director general was at the centre of the Calciopoli scandal in 2006, but has always maintained he did nothing wrong.

This week Mourinho slammed the media and referees for “intellectual prostitution” in creating an anti-Inter climate.

“He could be my lawyer,” grinned a sarcastic Moggi on Telecaprisport.

Nobody more than him proves clearly that nothing has changed in the world of football.

“Even a side that is objectively favoured by the referees, like Inter, still finds a way to complain about officials.”

Roma were furious after a controversial penalty in the 3-3 draw at San Siro on Sunday and Daniele De Rossi suggested it was “the latest in a long line of pro-Inter incidents.”

Moggi has picked up on this to claim it is no different to the situation when Juventus were favoured by the officials under his reign.

“There was absolutely no cabal or system,” insisted Big Luciano. “Refereeing errors in good faith naturally tend to favour the most powerful sides.”

We can all agree that beating Inter in the CL final is the best scenario :)
I have often dreamt about that. The story is always the same:

it's the last minute of the game and the score is 0-0. Inter have been the better side all day and it's a miracle that we're still in it. They have hit the woodwork a dozen times and Buffon is having the game of his life.

And just when the game is in the dying seconds Del Piero receives the ball close to our own penalty box. He then runs the entire length of the pitch with the ball at his feet, but when he's about to enter the Inter penalty box he gets caught in the grass and somehow falls. And he's there on the ground, just outside the penalty box with no Inter player even near him when the referee points to the spot.

The best CL final ever it would be:

Inter 0-1 Juventus, 95' Del Piero (rigore)

I think I'll have a hear attack if this happens.
