Fabio's faith in Juventus

England manager Fabio Capello believes Juventus can catch Inter at the top of Serie A.

The Old Lady ended 2008 on a high with a 3-1 win over Atalanta after their triumph against Milan.

But Inter are in charge and lead the pack by six points after their controversial win over Siena.

“Juve are the only true competitors for Inter,” Capello told Rai.

“However, the Nerazzurri have such a great squad and it's hard to see them not winning the title.

“Even though Inter will be tough to keep up with, Juventus are in great shape and will fight until the end.”

Juventus start 2009 with a home game against Siena, while Inter host Cagliari on January 11.

Can you imagine the reactions from the Milan camp after tonights win? For 20 days, until the next round, 1. we will have to hear how this was the real Milan, 2. how they are still scudetto contenders, how 9 pts is something reachable, 3. how great KA-PA-RO is.

2. Galliani : "Milan are better than Inter, we have beaten them twice this year and I think the reason behind the gap is the lack of points against the lesser sides," Galliani told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
"We need to find consistency because we have qualities to win already.

Alen, what are you on about? You should be happy they got a big win that will make them think EVERYTHING is well and good.

If they lost again after their humiliating losss against us, I can gurantee you the stingy fuck that is Galliani would have been pressed to sign players in January, defenders most likely. This win gives him excuse not to, and deceives the fans to think everything is well, like the Lazio and Samp wins last season did for them, as I said, just be glad it happend.

Blog: Dear Santa…

1. Please can you bring us a striker capable of scoring lots of goals? Zlatan Ibrahimovic is fantastic, but he’s just one man and we need at least another one if we want to win big this term. Every time the Swede sniffles our hearts leap into our throats. Signed, Inter.

2. Please can you empty our infirmary? We’ve had so many big players in there for so long we don’t even know who is supposed to be in our starting XI and who the substitutes are. It would also give our medical staff a much-needed break. Signed, Juventus.

3. Please can you decrease the average age of our team? Opposing players are starting to call Paolo Maldini ‘dad’. Also could you make players like Clarence Seedorf and Andrea Pirlo pick up their pace otherwise every time Gennaro Gattuso is unavailable our team collapses. Also, could you remind Andriy Shevchenko what a striker’s job is? Signed, Milan.

4. Please can you give us some belief in ourselves? We have a competitive side, with lots of players called up for Italy, a magical Adrian Mutu and a re-born Alberto Gilardino. But as our poor showing in the Champions League proves, we lack self-confidence. Signed, Fiorentina.

5. Please can you give us a backbone? Without Francesco Totti we fall to pieces and any team can have us. We need to shake off our crippling dependence on our captain, no matter how good he is. Signed, Roma.

6. Please can we have a time machine? Two months ago we looked unstoppable in Europe and in Italy and all of a sudden we are lucky if we can put together a draw. We lost something somewhere and need to go back in time to find it. Signed, Udinese.

7. Please can we have some sanity? We can win away to Juventus and then lose to Cagliari. Also could you bring our owner, Maurizio Zamparini, a few meditation therapy tapes? His constant eruptions are as destabilizing as Mount Etna’s. Signed, Palermo.

8. Please can you give us some sea legs? We are lethal at home but as soon as we step a few miles away from the Gulf of Naples it’s as if we have become another side, one struggling to avoid relegation. Signed, Napoli.

2 things

1 - Stepover is a pretty standard move now, it's not like the roulette or the elastico

2 - your Youtube is working? that underwater fibre-optic cable damage happened again, Youtube hasn't been working for me for the past 3 days :wallbang:
1. True, but doing it effectively is what matters. Nobody does it as well as C.Ronaldo does(except maybe Robinho)

2. same here

Senderooooooooooos.
thats more of a successful transfer for us :howler:

Just what convinced them to get him off our hands is mystifying. I wonder if we could get them to buy Bentdner, Djorou, Diaby, Denilson, Song or Silvestre :D

Btw, you basically mentionned half your team, Wenger has REALLY lost his eye for talent
