Wow, what an injustice.
Milan completely deserved to win. They were all over Lecce for 80 minutes and they deserved at least a 3 goal lead.
Lecce are a team that gives a bad name to serie A. They defended with 10 men from minute 1 until they conceded.

Now i'll cut the crap and i'll show my true emotions.
Milan deserved to win but to say that they were deserved to take at least a three goals lead is a bit overstated IMO. Lecce had a very good chance in the second half

Ok, you have to agree with me once in your lifetime.
That's an order from a moderator !

Seriously, apart from Giacomazzi's fluke chance, Lecce did nothing and if you could only see me how pissed i was due to their incompetence to push forward. Milan had 2 great chances through Borriello in the first half (one was impossible to miss and yet he did it), in the second half i remember Kaka's mega chance after Diamoutene's mistake and they had few more solid chances.
3:0, or if not 3:0 then 3:1 or 2:0 would have been a fair result.

Who cares though.

Oh, and Hoori, don't you ever make me defend Milan again. :D

It serves them right. They pissed me off last week against Napoli. Coincidentally, they get awarded a penalty when nothing is going right for them. I can't fucking stand that bald headed racist that is the very core of corruption in serie A. They deserve to draw today. Plus, it finally means that we made a little ground today. We have Genoa then Inter, we're going to need Milan, Inter and co. to drop as many points as possible.

Speaking of Inter, words cannot describe how much I despise this team. My fav. moment however, was when mourinho silenced the Inter fans. That was fucking gold. Loved that.

In fact that was my intention

I actually agree with you most of times but I just comment on the ones I disagree with :spliff:

The fans were jeering against the team, Quaresma in particular, very intensely might I add. When Inter scored, Mourinho gives the 10's of thousands of Inter fans the shutup sign. Someone in the Inter bench actually held Mourinho back so as not to provoke any trouble.

I doubt the Inter fans would be chanting the word "Jose" any time soon.

Not all the Inter fans. He gave the "shut up" to those....hmmm, my English betrays me....to those business class fans from the more expensive seats.

In other news....

1. Milan forum
2. Just after the FT whistle when everyone in the forum is going nuts, this post pops up :

Ancelotti: It's the ref's fault
Sunday 9 November, 2008

Carlo Ancelotti blamed the referee for robbing Milan of victory at the Via del Mare. “Only in Italy are these fouls awarded.”

Ronaldinho had given the Rossoneri the lead, but deep into stoppages Emerson was judged to have fouled Daniele Cacia and Esposito nodded in the free kick.

“That was a foul they only give in Italy. Unfortunately the referees in Italy give far too many free kicks for the slightest contact,” sighed the Coach.

“Unfortunately there was a man marking him and [Pippo] Inzaghi was in position, but the Lecce player did well to jump and get to the ball first. We don't have a very tall team, so it can happen for us to be a little weak on set plays.”

Milan had wasted a series of great scoring opportunities, most of them with Marco Borriello, while Christian Abbiati barely had a save to make.

“It was probably our best away performance in Serie A, as we created many chances, were balanced and pushed hard, yet we only got a point.

“I waited to make the substitutions because the team was doing so well. I was a little worried that adjusting the system could create a few more problems for us.”

Alexandre Pato came off the bench to immediately set up the opener for Ronaldinho, but there were midfield problems with Massimo Ambrosini and Andrea Pirlo out injured.

“Ambrosini is a very useful figure going forward, but he was out so we tried to push the full-backs further forward and that helped our style of play.

“It is true we create a lot more than we actually score, but that can happen. This match was basically won and we had done everything to deserve it.

“It wasn't even so much a defensive distraction at the end, but rather an error from the referee.”

The 1-1 draw means that Milan lose the Serie A leadership to Jose Mourinho's Inter, but it is extremely tight as eight teams are crammed within four points.
