I think the years that he spent in milan made him more and more acts like inzaghi. The way he dive all the time, shouting at the linesman whenever he's caught offside, the expression on he's face when he misses a chance to score . I don't care what is the reason but AFAIK Maradona is still worshiped by his fans all over the world because of the goal he scored with his hand at the World Cup. And I don't know if there really is a rule which could ban the players for diving or using hands on purpose but I don't think Messi (for instance) got a ban for his handball goal against Betis. For Messi it was said to be the pure intelligence of the Maradona's heir, for the likes of Gila it is disgraceful and deserves a ban.
