Forza draw or Inter win tonight.

Face it, we're not winning this scudetto and we certainly won't be placed above Inter.
Roma on the other hand ( assuming that we'll start playing better and start winning, which doesn't look likely at all atm) will be our rivals for the 4th spot.

Whoever wants Roma to win tonight doesn't love Juve as much as he/she hates Inter.
Draw and Inter win are the best options and by far the worst scenario for Juve will happen if Roma wins.

It's weird coming from you.
Dom is not an eternal optimist. He's just a smart guy who can see things as they are. So are you, actually.
Knowing that, you can be sure that we're fucked up when you read this last post of his.

Hope is there, of course, but atm we're faaaaaaaaar from being a good team and a team that can challenge for the scudetto

It's simply the current reality. This is one of the worst juve sides ever.

I am not denying any of the points you mentioned but when I take a look at the Serie A table and see this:

Udinese
Catania
Napoli
Lazio

Then the situation is bigger than it actually is, it is bigger than the crisis we are passing in.

As for Juventus itself, this side is really bad, I can see that as many others do but at the same the individuals have potential. Dominic have said it, Alen have said it and even Andy have said it. The squad in itself can do way much better than we are actually seeing.

I have a question, did we ever play two games this season with the exact same starting line-up?

I have another question, were we infected with injuries as much as we are suffering right now?

With this question/point i agree.
Those who now say "i told you that we'll be awful" couldn't know that we'll have 10 players injured and at least 3-4 injured starters all the time.
99% of us who weren't as pessimistic as some others agreed with the "pessimists" that it's highly possible that we'll stand no chance in the scudetto race but we disagreed that we'll be a mid table team and we had a good reason to disagree.

Then again, we should have known that injuries (although not so many of them as we have now) were going to come sooner or later.
We have a pretty good team but our team is, even in full force, weaker than Inter or Milan. Our only chance to win the scudetto was to keep their pace and hope they'll fuck up AND, also, we had to hope that we won't suffer from any injuries, which was hard to believe.

There were three possibilities. The first one was not to have any injured players whatsoever and fight for the scudetto. The second one was our current reality and the third , most possible one, was somewhere in between. I, and others here, went with the odds and we supported the third option.
Great or very bad luck was the only way for the optimists and pessimists to be right. Unfortunately for all of us, Andy, Vinman and Cronios got it right, but not because we're an awful team. It happened mostly because we're very unlucky with the injuries of influental players like Buffon, Trezeguet, Camoranesi and Zanetti.

The even worse part is that with the way we play and with our awful luck Andy and Vinman will probably keep telling us "i told you so". Buffon and Trez are out for months and i fear that Inter, Fiorentina and Milan will create even bigger gap between us until Buffon and Trez are back ( and what about Zanetti and at least 2-3 more injured players that we'll certainly have until January). The coach is making things even worse than they should be.

Beh..... here is to hope that we'll stay injury free after January and we'll buy the right players in the winter transfer market. :malt:

If we dig even deeper. Look at the bozo they hired as head scout. Castagnini f*cked up Piacenza and their fans made petitions to get rid of him.

Forget the Giovinco's for the next couple of years also.

This is going downhill faster than Herman Maier.

He didn't play well until the penalty. He was awful in the first half. But he has enough greatness to win matches even when he plays bad.
Kaka is the man for Milan, though. Milan are just an average team without him and they are a different and much better team with Kaka.
No need to say that it's about time for someone to break Kaka's legs into pieces.
Completely agree. More times than one they played without him and looked like a pub team. Today if it werent for that soft penalty they probably wouldnt have won.

I don't remember I ever said anything against that but I do remember I always said that I don't like such kind of player, that's my taste, I prefer a physical player than a dribbler.
I've heard these type of comments many times here, and tbh i really dont understand them. This is the only place where flair players like Ronaldinho arent appreciated

but like you said, in the end its a matter of taste.

perhaps it's a Juve thing...we are a tough, not so attack oriented team which has players with battling qualities...so I suppose Juve fans admire those qualities in players more as compared to Madrid or Barca supporters

totally correct

I have a question, did we ever play two games this season with the exact same starting line-up?
i guess the only way we would have won a decent amount of points would have been, when every player was on form and noone injuried. that is the situation where even the mistakes ranieri does would not weigh so heavy and we possibly would sit somewhere in the top 3 in the league.

so in an ideal enviroment it would be ok.

i guess having 5 injuried players that are at least good enough to sit on the bench would take a good coach to compensate.

with the amount of injuries we have, i do not see many coaches that would be able to compensate for that with great tactics ... even mourinho would not make a good defender out of knezevic.

so right now, what's happening is what would happen to pretty much every club with these amounts of injuries.

I have another question, were we infected with injuries as much as we are suffering right now?
there should be someone who analyses this ...

the training should be observed and the medical team, too ...

the players are observed and checked for blood values and so on

i think the medical team should advise ranieri if players are too tired to do

certain training programmes.

they are paid as a full job, so they should not only act when someone is injured,

but also before to prevent so many injuries.

further i am a bit angry with some players ... (yes del piero is also a certain candidate for misbehaviour sometimes)

even if they don't like the coach (if that was the case) they have to give their all

to win and that is obviously not the case. we cannot do anything if a player is just not good enough, but when i see del piero just walking slowly back, when he lost the ball instead of helping the team out in midfield to close down the passing opportunities i could vomit.

yes he is one of the older players and cannot run for 90 minutes, but if he can't than he should run as long as he can and then let a substitute like giovinco take his place. when he just gives 80% all the time to save energy and play 90 minutes, we will never see giovinco have enough chance ... a further point was, if the players run for 70 minutes the opponent will also be tired and giovinco will have it easier to play against them

even in times when we had not so many injuries that was the case ...

my opinion is, the players should run their socks off and if they are tired at 70 or 80 minutes, then they can get substituted ... but just running when we are in possession to do tricks and saving the energy for later is really a bad attitude imho.
