I don't think there was ever any doubt about his footballing abilities...he seems to have matured a lot at Inter, but his finishing is still quite poor for a top-class FW...and the best in the world? 2 words...Fernando Torres

Debatable, I don't think torres is better than zlatan. Ibra can dribble and break down defenders something torres lacks, his finishing is more than fine to me.

ibra is an excellent playmaker also, so that makes up for his sometimes poor finishing.

Actually I hated him even more when he was playing for Juventus.
why?

i know he's a player that is hated if he's not on "your" team but it doesn't make sense when he played for us.

i know he was an arrogant bastard but i actually admired his swagger, he played for arguably the best club in the world and he was good. he had to stand next to shining stars and be compared to legends of the club everyday.

I felt he was his own Cassano when he came to the squad. I liked a few of the goals in his first season, but I always felt the guy was playing for himself more than the team -- a hog with the ball, stupid decisions, ridiculous shots into the parking lot way too often.

By the time his second season for Juventus rolled around, the magnifying glass came out on all his flaws. He started making Cassano look like a good sport with a cool head for making good decisions on the pitch.

When he left, it was "good riddance"... even today. That guy left a bad taste in my mouth. (I think it was "camel".)

The thing that pissed me off the most about Zlatan was e-v-e-r-y s-i-n-g-l-e t-i-m-e he attacked the defenders but lost the ball, he walked back into the play while being behind the last defender. Countless times his lazy ass blew a counterattack because he was walking back and wasn't onside for the long ball.

That right there is the epitome of a selfish bastard forward.

but you said, that the first and last requirement for a striker is to score goals, Adebayor has done that more than zlatan last season, and he's scored more than zlatan this season, so going by your logic he is a better striker than zlatan.

I love everything comes out of Bozman, even if it was his shit on my face, our bond is that romantic :touched:
i told you before homey, the golden shower is as far as i will go,i could never see that face covered in my fecal matter

seriously, they have a better squad and better coach. all history aside, there has never been more talent on an inter squad than there is right now. on top of that is a world class coach who knows what he is doing.

he may not care about winning the scudetto as much as winning europe but his employers might have something to say about that
we'll see

keep in mind that i'm not supporting inter, i'm just looking at the facts and whats on paper are the facts. yes, we did not lose pts to them last season even though they possessed a better squad. the difference this year is the depth they have on their bench and the quality of that depth. we have far too many young unproven players coming off our bench.

overall i think when we face inter it will ultimately come down to coaching. thats where we will see how good both teams really are
i hate to say that i agree with you on this dru but you hit the nail on the head there, inter are not the joke club they ahve been in recent years and we will not have the momentum we built up last season, plus when the CL gets to the knockout stages our squad depth will be tested to the limit. plus ranieri has a much more tactically astute manager in the opposition dugout this season

I wish Zlatan still was a juventino. Basically it was the ref scandal that caused him to leave :(
that.....and the piss baloons Rab lobbed at him every time del piero was left on the bench

Actually I hated him even more when he was playing for Juventus.
many memebers on here are the same

I think both examples are a direct reflection of his age. the guy was really young and cocky. he had/has a lot to learn and the longer he plays the more he will mature. I also think that mourinho will straighten him up a bit.

What's with Roma?

One time a wise man told us something, Roma are always Roma and they oscillate more than an alternating current, is that their year where they struggle to avoid relegation?
