Juve chief: 'We hate Inter!'

Juventus patron Lapo Elkann admits he finds joint leaders Inter “the least likeable rivals” in football.

The two clubs never really got along, but matters have deteriorated in the wake of Calciopoli. Now after the return to Serie A, they are fighting for the Scudetto once more.

“At this moment Inter are Juve's biggest rivals and, in recent years, have become our least likeable rivals too,” said the heir to the Agnelli empire.

“In any case, Inter are also a strong rival on the market place, seeing as they have four squads in one.”

Elkann has never been reticent in expressing his dislike of the Nerazzurri and is bound to cause further controversy with these statements.

Juve are on a roll after three wins on the trot between Serie A and the Champions League against Udinese, Zenit and Cagliari.

“I have the utmost respect, but the season is a long one and at the end of the day you're never sure who is going to win. The same goes for Europe.”

3 red squares in your reputation. Wow.
You know, I have to say -- it takes a lot of effort to achieve that. It's actually kind of impressive, really.

Lap Dog also hates methadone clinics, so I'm not sure what this really means.

What does this even mean? Inter are always suffering from inferiority complex when playing us. We'll come out with at least 4 points against them.
inter have better players, a better coach and a more dedicated board driven to win serie A.

where do we rank against that? our def is laughable, our best players are aging or injured. our board, coach, GM are one big joke.

now please tell me something more concrete to debate besides "inferiority complexes".

No offense but when did you become a Serie A fan?

''inter would crush us on field'' is something like ''sun would rise from west''
seriously

they have a better squad and better coach. all history aside, there has never been more talent on an inter squad than there is right now. on top of that is a world class coach who knows what he is doing.

he may not care about winning the scudetto as much as winning europe but his employers might have something to say about that

You're right. Inter do have a better squad, that's not even a subject that is up for debate, however, they didn't thrash us last year when we had the weaker team, if anything, the contrary happened if I remember correctly. They are a star-studded squad, granted, but when it comes down to the big moment, it all means fuck all in football. Juve were better against Inter last year because of veterans that have anger and misery from the calciopoli and see Inter as the best way to get their revenge.

They put their hearts out there when they play Inter, it's not as significant to the Inter players as it is to the Juve players. Something concrete other than the "inferiority complex" which is utter bullshit anyway, is the overwhelming drive and motive Juventus possess.

Well, they might win the Scudetto but it is highly unlikely they win any of the two encounters with Juve.
we'll see

keep in mind that i'm not supporting inter, i'm just looking at the facts and whats on paper are the facts. yes, we did not lose pts to them last season even though they possessed a better squad. the difference this year is the depth they have on their bench and the quality of that depth. we have far too many young unproven players coming off our bench.

overall i think when we face inter it will ultimately come down to coaching. thats where we will see how good both teams really are

Oh, believe me it is. The difference is our backbone of campiones bring out the best when the heat is on while Inter players get scared and choke. History has everything to do with it and to say Inter don't have an inferiority complex towards Juventus is just insane.
