I didn't watch the match but from what i could read Ambrosini played as a striker and Pirlo as an attacking midfielder/support striker. :lol2:

The only bad thing about Milan's defeat today is that Kalac proved that he can't be their main keeper.
Look at the third goal he conceded (not the one between his legs, that's the first goal. The third one is hillarious)

the lowers that Galliani stopped before even hearing them.
:lol2:

That was gold and a prove that clairvoyance is possible. The man knew that Chelsea will offer 100m euro and he rejected that offer even before Abramovich knew that he wants Kaka and he'll make an offer for him.

How the mighty have fallen....

Only few years ago Juve and Milan had the best defenses in the world. Now our defense is average, dependable on Chiellini and Buffon, but it's still much much better than Milan's.

I strongly suggest to look at the highlights of Chelsea-Milan

Kalac is at fault for 2 goals but the other 3 goals, especially the last two, show how funny Milan's defense is.
Yes, they were missing Nesta, but Kaladze, Zambrotta, Maldini, Bonera played, with Flamini and Gattuso in front of them.
Nesta, who's injured most of the time anyway, can not help them too much, because this defense is a real disaster.

P.S: Dom, that's why i was sceptical at your line-up with Seedorf and Pirlo at CM with Ronaldinho, Kaka and Pato in front of them. With this defense Milan has it will be suicidal to play without 2 strong DMC's. I know that sometimes it's better to play to your strenghts, but in Milan's case it's not. Everytime a ball goes into their box it's a goal so they must do something to stop opponents attacks in midfield.

i saw the whole game and Ancelotti should be whipped for that line up in the first half. I know he doesn't have any senior forwards or attacking midfielders, but what are these friendlies for if you won't try any youngesters. What was he thinking playing with that line up.

The defense was piss weak and the fact that they couldn't retain the ball upfront or make any attacks didn't help as they were under constant pressure. Had Chelsea have better wingers out there on the night the result would've been much worse.
