Zanetti - Vieira/Lampard (?) - Cambiasso

Quaresma - Ibra

Drogba (?)
No, Ibra will be the striker with two wingers (Mancini-Quresma?) who'll have the same role Camo and Di Natale had for Italy, and 2 DMCs+Lampard in the center.

...........Zanetti-Lampard-Cambiasso...........
Quaresma....................................Mancini
........................Zlatan..........................

Of course, he'll have players like Vieira, Figo, Jimenez, Cruz, Adriano, Balotelli on the bench and he can rotate as much as he wants, without suffering a bit.

Plus, add the two full backs who do a monster job both in defense and attack.
Their defense is by far the strongest in Italy.

Moggi was probably right, Inter are too powerful financially and in every other way and they'll win the scudetto for 5 years in a row.
Their only rivals in last 2 years were Roma and look what are they doing to them. They took Chivu and Mancini and weakned them drastically. We are financially very weak while Milan are in a mess of their own.

I guess we can only hope for Inter to keep failing in Europe because in Italy we'll need a miracle to beat them for the scudetto.

Mancini signs for Inter
Thursday 10 July, 2008
Amantino Mancini is an Inter player after the Nerazzurri agreed a deal with Roma this afternoon.

The Brazilian wizard was a star for the Giallorossi last season, but had made it clear that he saw his future elsewhere.

New Inter boss Jose Mourinho set his heart on bringing Mancini in as his first addition and that has come to fruition.

Early indications are that the Italian champions will pay their Super Cup opponents £10.3m and that Mancini will sign a four-year deal worth £2.8m per season.

“Both sides are satisfied,” Inter director Gabriele Oriali told Sky Sport Italia.

“We hope that Mancini can do as well as Cristian Chivu has for us and become an important player.”

In Euro this means ~13m eur to Roma and 3.5m eur for Mancini.

:disagree:, quarisma on his day can do absalutely everything to he's opponents.......Much bitter than mancini........
The key word here is "on his day". He doesn't have his days all the time. Anyway, I wasn't suggesting Mancini is superior to Quaresma but a better buy financially.

Inter get for a substantially cheaper amount a player of the same characteristics and class. They got better value for money in Mancini plus Mancini is accustomed to playing on the highest level in Serie A and is versatile.

Quaresma has the age advantage and maybe more potential but I don't see much of a difference here.

Good transfer for Inter, I would have liked to have him in our team.

I don't think Suazo will be sold, Crespo is already out, Cruz can also leave so that leaves them with Ibra, Suazo, Adriano and that young guy, Balotelli if I am not wrong.
I don't want to think about the team if they also get Drogba, that would be terrible for the rest of the league.
We'd better get other players the Poulsen, else it will be a fight for second instead of first like declared earlier this week by our coach and our chairman.
