Not this year.
Buffon, and especially Manninger, were left jobless in many of our matches. It says a lot about our team defense.
We don't really defend well when a ball reaches our box but we do great to keep the opponent outside our box,

The last three serie A matches, even the match against Real, were a nice proof for what i said.

Looking much better now. A few more consecutive wins and we can even be 1st.

Fuck them. They don't deserve topping the table. The match was a disgrace.
If only Milan can draw at least away to Lecce and we win.

Big credit must go to the big African guy in our midfield. He makes the defenders' job much easier.
True. but even Molinaro defensively is improving, not to mention the good understanding between Legro and Chiellini. Grygera is having also one decent season IMO.

    Ranieri also needs some credit.

Our defence's offside trap is outstanding. We hold such a high line and stay nice and narrow that it is very congested in midfield. It means that Sissoko can go rampaging around in front of them making sure no-one has time time to pick a pass over the top.

Ranieri has done very well in both seasons in Serie A to get a defensive system which involves minimal defending individually and is all about being disciplined and masking the limited ability of some of our defenders.

You fool, it's not Ranieri that does that, it's Nedved and Del Piero

+rep for noticing that as well...i LOVE seeing the expression of an opposing FW when he gets in the trap

And the crisis of our opponents. If they aren't in crisis they'll never get caught offside.

    We are so lucky.
Ranieri is so lucky, if it weren't for the crisis our opponents are having he would have been long gone, along with Molinaro the dipshit.
