Inter fans face Tardini ban

Roma fans are still banned from Catania this weekend and now Inter supporters may be prevented from travelling to Parma.

There was outrage amongst Roma fans and players when it was announced that supporters would be forbidden from travelling to Catania’s Stadio Massimino for their crucial final-day fixture.

While the Sicilian police feel that the arrival of a large number of Giallorossi fans would be a security risk, Lega Calcio chief Antonio Matarrese [pictured] and many others feel it is unfair to ban them because Inter fans are allowed to visit Parma.

“Roma fans must be allowed to go to Catania because this is the football we want to see without any disparity,” Matarrese raged yesterday.

The Osservatorio, who are responsible for the decision, held an emergency meeting today, but have confirmed that there is no U-turn on the Catania-Roma fixture.

However, there are rumours that they will restore the balance by preventing Nerazzurri followers going to Parma.

Ticket sales for the Tardini clash were due to commence at 9am this morning, but have been indefinitely delayed.

Meanwhile, the Stadio Olimpico clash between Lazio and Napoli will be attended by Biancocelesti season ticket holders only.

i think these bans are stupid, this means the roma or inter players wont be able to celebrate properly and im not saying i care about inter or anything but its wrong for any team.

I certainly would welcome him with open arms.Still quality...many people think otherwise though just because he set up the goal for Scholes in CL.
he would not be welcomed back by many but for me i would certainly be delighted to see "Rambo" back marauding down the flanks. anybody who thinks we do not need him should look at our full back positions this season, apart from zebina we have absolutely NO quality there, unless you sacrifice chiellini from the centre:crazy:

ask any of these guys if next year in the CL they would rather have zambrotta back, running down the flanks, closing down opponents and crossing into the box

or

molinaro, who for all his desire and hard work is simply not good enough

Remember a certain Sissoko?Everybody was against him because of what he said and now he is one of the most popular players(rightfully). We simply can't rely on Molinaro& Co. in the CL,we have to look at experienced quality on the wings,e.g Zambrotta. Plus he already knows how it works at Juventus. I know there are some who doubt it,but I thought he had an extremely solid game against C.Ronaldo at the Old Trafford. Last but not least,I think Buffon& Co. wouldn't say "No" to a possible return of Gianluca,I believe they're friens and they know that he is class.

you cant compare the sissoko situation to zambrotta's gianluca left us when we needed our champions the most. and think does any 1 remeber neddy saying"the players left but the men stayed" could you imagine how he would feel?

it would be great if we get vargas or someone of REAL quality in but our spending potential aint so great, zambrotta would be relitavely cheap, would give us great experience and someone to help bring the youngsters on

im sorry it would be like a slap to the face for me, its like after all the hardship our players went through and now that we are near to where we should be he comes along again, having deserted us when we most needed him.

i know where you are coming from but another way to look at it is that he owes juve and should he come back he could re-earn our trust and affections
