Kaka on Time 100 influential list
Kaka has been named among Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world and is the only football player in the list.
The Milan hero was included under the category 'Heroes and Pioneers’ along with the likes of Andre Agassi, Lance Armstrong and Oscar Pistorius.
Kaka will be one of the 100 faces on the cover to be released on May 12 and he could not hide his satisfaction.
“When I heard the news I was really moved, because this is a wonderful moment,” he smiled on Milan Channel.
“I consider it a great satisfaction. To be among the 100 most influential people in the world is a remarkable privilege.
“To see my name there in that list along with 99 other personalities of world renown makes me very happy.”
Considering the splash David Beckham made in the States, it is interesting to note Kaka is the only football player on the list.
“It is not easy to make a mark on the American media. They have their own market and their favourite sports. Allowing me, a soccer player, to be part of this list is a great feeling for which I thank God.”

Okay, and do you think we're going to achieve much this year and next year? It takes time to build a good squad, and that is exactly what Manure have done, basing it upon youngsters such as Ronaldo and Rooney. Success takes time, you know. It doesn't come over night.
Only Chelsea has the power to spend copious amounts of money and have success in two nights. This is why we need to build a good young squad, bring them along well, and then have a dominant squad for a number of years down the road.
I feel that some people here are really shortsighted when it comes to our possibilities for success in the short term. Remember, Nedved and Del Piero are on their last legs. We need to find replacements for them now.

Please dont take this the wrong way guys but if you dont rebuild your squad you will be in the same situation as Milan, keeping the older players as you dont want to axe them as They add expirience etc in the long run its better to start getting the youth in while the likes of Del Piero and Nedved can still play as then the youth have time to intergrate into the squad and then fade in seamlessly when Del Piero and Nedved start to lose there Stamina unlike what happening at Milan where we are now axing the older players and throwing the youth in at the deepend like we did with Pato.
