The season has ended for Cordoba, such a shame I wanted him to play against us when we go to San Siro. I would have creamed on a Nedved screamer after a Cordoba typical clearance.
This is making it very, very difficult for me not to take a dump in a brown paper envelope and FedEx it to Cordoba. I always thought he was a douche only exceeded by Matrix.

Very, very difficult indeed.

Can we bring Nani and Anderson too? Not Cronaldo, he will bring his trannies.
Yeah, but Nani and Anderson will invite CRon to the parties, and CRon will bring his trannies anyway.

Interestingly, two out of the top four scorers in Serie A have been on drugs. Couldn't be more suspicious.
Four out of five dentists have scored with their top patients who they put on drugs. No surprise there.

Moratti: I don't want Italian players Friday 22 February, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inter President Massimo Moratti insists it is “not a priority” to introduce more Italians into the team and explains why their fans should be proud.

Internazionale have certainly lived up to their name recently, as often Marco Materazzi is the only Italian in the side.

The club has been criticised for this approach, but the patron has no intention of embracing homegrown talent.

“My intention is to invest less in new signings. It is not a priority to add more Italians to the squad, despite what some claim, but rather to safeguard the current side and eventually introduce some elements from the youth team.”

The only real signing during the January transfer window was Atletico Madrid midfielder Nuno Maniche.

“I am happy to have brought in Maniche, as he can prove useful both in Serie A and the Champions League,” added Moratti.

They are 11 points clear at the top of the table, but the 2-0 first leg defeat at Anfield brought up more doubts over their European pedigree.

After the controversy over refereeing errors in their favour and accusations of being ‘irritating’ to neutral supporters, Moratti gave a message to the tifosi.

“You must be proud of being an Interista, because we are better than everyone else.” :inter:

Ibra Second Only To Messi - Cassano

Ahead of this weekend's game against Inter, Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano praised fellow rebel Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is second only to Lionel messi according to the former Real Madrid player.

After his excellent performance in the derby against Genoa, Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano talked about next weekend's game against league leaders Inter, and restated his desire to take part to Euro 2008 with Italy.

"Me and [Alessandro] Del Piero in the national team? Absolutely," he said, "Del Piero is showing he deserves to be at the Euros, perhaps along with me."

On fellow rebellious striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who he will come up against on Sunday, he said: "I think that, after [Barcelona star Lionel] Messi, he's the best in the world. Me and him together? I hope so. If the club listens to me and brings him to Sampdoria, we could aim for the Scudetto."

Even though he is only on loan at Samp (Real Madrid still own him), Cassano sees himself with the Blucerchiati for a long time: "Yes, my dream is to stay at Sampdoria and become a symbol of this team."

Moggi: Inter still don't have guts Friday 22 February, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Luciano Moggi has launched a scathing attack on Inter after their sluggish performance against Liverpool. “It’s 2002 all over again.”

The Nerazzurri are 11 points clear at the top of Serie A, but seemed out of sorts and defensive at Anfield even before Marco Materazzi’s 30th-minute red card.

“Inter turned up at Liverpool with their head in the clouds, thinking they had already won, just like they did in Rome that famous May 5, 2002,” said Moggi.

That day all they needed was a win or potentially even a draw away to Lazio in order to clinch the Scudetto, but they lost 4-2 and finished third behind Juventus and Roma.

Moggi, who as director general of Juve was at the centre of the Calciopoli scandal, also used the Liverpool loss and the Bianconeri’s current form to highlight what he saw as an over-reaction to his famous phone calls.

“It was certainly easy for Massimo Moratti to think of conspiracies, but the fact the current Juventus side is still making its presence felt proves that these plots Moratti talks about simply didn’t exist.

“I must compliment Claudio Ranieri and all the players of the old guard who remained at Juve.”

The Turin giants were demoted to Serie B, but won promotion immediately and are now just one point adrift of second place.

He definitely was. Had he really meant it he would have mentioned himself first. Then Messi and then someone else.

Mind games, I guess. Next he'll start releasing indiscreet rumors about Slutan's and Matrix's falling apart. Before matchday, the three of them will be on Jerry Springer.

Cassano has temper issues, but he's never been arrogant enough to call himself the best in the world.Zlatan has done that in the past. Not Cassano.People take his temper problem and end up mixing it up the 'im the best in the world' bit, something which he has never said or claimed.

I am foreseeing a scenario that might make us smile at the end.

Inter are now really really really focused on the Champions League. Ahead of their game against Liverpool they meet:

  • Atalanta (away)
  • Roma (home)
  • Napoli (away)
  • Reggina (home)

Three really difficult games and with their focus on the CL I see them losing a lot of points in the first three games. Their game against Reggina is not that easy and it is only three days before the CL game.

The scenario continues by Inter beating Liverpool and focusing even more on Europe and at the same time we are closing the gap in the table. Inter goes on to reach the final of the CL and we go on to be title contenders.

The scenario gets even better with Inter also reaching the final of Coppa Italia.

The scenario ends by Inter losing Coppa Italia final, the CL final and on the 18th of May, Juventus win against Atalanta where Inter lose against Parma just for all of us to enjoy Chapter 2 of May 5, 2002.
