Gazzetta are pro-Milan 100% , they aren't and they've never been pro-Inter. They are the newspaper that relegated Juve, as some like to say but as of late we have some deal with us (sponsorship or something similar) and now you can see the results.

Just look at their standings now. Milan have 8 points more than they have in reality while Juve have 7 points more.

As for these standings, if they are a result of an objective research we can see that Juve are one of the teams that suffered the most from the refs.
But don't take these standings as a fact.
We all watched our team play this season and we all know that referee mistakes aren't the reason why we aren't topping the table.

And the way they make these standings is debatable.
For example, for our match against Napoli they count that the ref gave 2 inexistant penalties to Napoli and they count that match with the result 1:1 and they give us 1 point from that match.
But if the ref didn't give the penalties to Napoli no-one can guarantee that we would have drawn that match. We could have won it and we could have lost it also.

Personally, i don't put too much attention to this Gazzetta research. The only thing i accept from this is the fact that Inter didn't deserve to have as many points as they do and that they would have been much closer to Roma if the refs didn't favour them.

Juventus Would Be Top If Not For Referees – Report

A report in the Gazzetta dello Sport this morning sensationally claims that Juventus would be top of the Serie A table had it not been for refereeing errors.

The latest controversy to have hit Serie A is the claim Inter are continuously being favoured by referees. The Nerazzurri are furious over the allegations, and even declared a press silence in protest, but this report is certain to only fan the fires.

The debate has really exploded in recent weeks after the Nerazzurri picked up wins over Parma and Empoli, mainly thanks to controversial penalty-decisions.

Juventus and Milan have both complained this season that they are being victimised by officials.

The Gazzetta dello Sport have decided to create a league table on where teams would be had it not been for refereeing errors.

Inter have obtained eight points more than they should have done, while Juventus would have been top of the league, as they would have had seven more.

In total this results in a 15-point difference between the totals of Juventus and Inter, meaning that Claudio Ranieri’s men would now be three points clear at the top of the table.

The report claims that Milan are the worst team effected, as they have received eight points less than they should have. With a game in hand, this in theory means that the Rossoneri would only be four points off the top-of-the-table, despite having what many labelled as their worse start to a domestic season in two decades.

Reggina, who are third-from-bottom are also badly hit, and would be in a comfortable mid-table position had it not been for refereeing mistakes.

These revelations are sure to anger Inter and their fans even further, while giving Milan, Juve and Roma fans more ammunition to have a go at the Nerazzurri.

Table (On the left are the number of points that each team would have had if referee decisions were correct. In brackets are the real, official points totals)

Juventus 48 points (41)

Inter 45 (53)

Roma 45 (45)

Milan 41 (33)

Fiorentina 36 (37)

Atalanta 33 (29)

Palermo 28 (28)

Sampdoria 28 (28)

Udinese 28 (33)

Napoli 27 (27)

Genoa 26 (28)

Reggina 25 (18)

Lazio 24 (23)

Livorno 23 (21)

Catania 21 (23)

Siena 21 (20)

Parma 19 (19)

Torino 18 (21)

Cagliari 16 (14)

Empoli 15 (16)

maybe we can't say but numbers can say.we are officially robbed.
We can indeed say that the refs weren't kind to us and they were very kind to the merda. On this we all agree.

But again i will mention the reliability of Gazzetta dello Sport.
They are pro-Milan and if you look at the standings you'll see that according to Gazzetta Milan were the team that suffered the most from refs mistakes and they lost 8 points due to these mistakes. Then Reggina follows with 7 points less than they should have (Reggina are a team very close to Milan and team that always gives or takes points from Milan depending on who needs the points. Milan saved Reggina from relegation twice, in 2004 and 2007 by giving them the win in the last round and then Milan beats Reggina without any efforts at all in the next seasons) and then it's Juve, a team that has a sponsorship deal with Gazzetta.

As much as i want to believe this reserach, i find it highly subjective.

Milan Now Optimistic Over Pato

The latest word from the Milanello is that the ankle injury suffered by Pato on the weekend is not nearly as bad as first feared.

The Brazilian teenage sensation came off the bench at the Stadio Franchi to score the only goal of the game in Milan's 1-0 victory over Fiorentina on Sunday night, only to be stretchered off the pitch in serious distress after badly turning his ankle in the dieing moments of the match.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has just relayed some highly encouraging news from the club's medical staff and has even gone as far as suggesting that there is genuine hope that the prodigiously gifted youngster could be back in time for the first leg of their Champions League clash against Arsenal on 20th February.

"I have spoken to the doctors. Our hope is to have him (Pato) available for the game in London," he said.

Galliani also gave an update on the status of the club's midfield destroyer Gennaro Gattuso, saying the he too is well on the road to recovery.

He said: "Gattuso has a thigh problem. We will have to speak to the doctors but we hope to have him back (in training) next week."

I think we should think what will happen in 12 days...
We are playing against Roma.It will be one of our desicive matches this season as fighting for top 4 places continues.Roma will probably go for win and try to get close to Inter Merda and challenge them for scudetto.

We have some good and bad news for that match.Good news is that we`ll probably have both Buffon and Chiellini ready for this one according to italian press. The bad news is that Roma doesn`t have any injured players at the moment.(No,I am not evil I am just hoping to take advantage of everything and try to get 3 damn points!)

Totti was slightly injured/sick but he`ll be ready for Reggina this weekend.Same goes for Taddei.Aquilani had long term injury and he`s getting little time to play as he`s not fit yet.
Last time we played 2-2 and get that one point luckly as Iaquinta scored in the last minutes.
Roma is doing pretty well vs. top half teams.7 wins 2 draws and one lost match.Lets just hope we`ll get good result here.

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this already, but I read that the referee, Paolo Tagliavento, has been banned for a month for his penalty call against Empoli this past Sunday.
