What'll keep us in the top 4 isnt Ranieri's brilliance, but the fact that Fiorentina will start dropping a large number of points.Fiorentina have tougher fixtures than us.They play Roma,Inter,Napoli,Us,Udinese and Torino..all away from home.We can afford a bit of a wobble. They cant.

We are 4 points ahead of Fiorentina right now,and 8 points ahead of Milan and Udinese.Milan have a game in hand over us.I know Juve's doing poorly, but i really dont see Fiorentina knocking us out of the top 4.We have to play Fiorentina at home too,a game that i think we'd win.We also play Roma,Torino,Napoli and Milan at home, which is to our advantage. The tricky ones could be the ones away from home against Inter,Sampdoria,Udinese and Genoa.

The teams with a serious chance of knocking us out of the CL spots are Milan,Udinese and Fiorentina, and we will play 2 of us at home.So its not all that bleak.
Udinese next week is crucial.

I we lose that and other results go against us, we will be under serious pressure.

Looks like the people who state Molinaro is better than Balzaretti are wrong. But we already knew that.

Balzaretti >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Blowinaro.
 And you concluded that on the basis of one match.

Forza Balza. But it's just one match... the guy couldn't even hold on to a starting job in Fiorentina's injury-plagued back line this season.
That is because he is an average player who is made for midtable teams like Palermo and Torino. And I doubt he will be consistantly good for Palermo.

people? there is only one person coming with that crap, and his name is iknohinsa something like that!
I´ll say it again, just for you: Molinaro >>> Balzaretti

Salman,

True, but we are also loosing to many points at home, especially the last two matches, not counting the cup match against inter in this list (Juve - Udine: 0-1, Juve - Inter: 1-1 (ok, it's Inter), Juve - Samp: 0-0 and now Cagliari 1-1) so I am still concerned about it, normally, 5 points on Fiorentina should be enough, but then we need to improve.
Next week, when we visited Udinese, we will know more.

You guys think Totti will get suspended for more than one game for punching Manninger in the stomach? 3 games would be fair.

oh wait, I guess they'll give him a big 0 since we play them in 2 weeks.

Thing is, if Manninger would have simulated and thrown himself on the ground crying like a bitch - which is what Francesca herself would have done - Totti would have gotten a red card and a couple of games suspension.

Stupid Manninger.

Collina: Inter Penalty Was Wrong

Referee designator Pierluigi Collina has admitted that Inter should not have been awarded their controversial penalty against Empoli yesterday afternoon.

The Nerazzurri overcame Empoli 1-0 courtesy of a Zlatan Ibrahimovic spot-kick on 34 minutes.

The penalty was given after the referee adjudged a Dejan Stankovic shot to have hit Ighli Vannucchi on the hand, even though replays clearly showed that the ball had hit the Empoli star in the face.

“The episode that ended in Inter’s penalty saw Dejan Stankovic’s shot hit Vannucchi full in the face,” Collina admitted.

“Perhaps the referee was fooled because of the angle and he could have had some doubts because sometimes you see things differently on the pitch.

“But even if the ball had struck Vannucchi’s hand, it would have been involuntary given the close range.”

Inter boss Roberto Mancini admitted after the game that the penalty shouldn’t have been awarded, while Vannucchi himself revealed that the referee had ignored him when he displayed the evidence of the ball hitting him in the face.

"I felt a big pain and I tried to show the referee that my face had become purple from the shot. However he was irremovable,” said the 30-year-old.

This is not the first controversial incident involving Inter this season, and there was uproar after they were handed an equally debatable decision against Parma a fortnight ago.
