Somewhat harsh? It was an appaling decision, the guy got the ball and I dont care if he plays for Inter or whoever referees should not be making those kind of decisions especially in Italy where everyone thinks people have it in for them.

At this rate tackling would be totally outlawed, it was not two-footed, was not dangerous and he got the ball far more than the man.

We are in danger of the sport becoming too sissyish with players going down everytime you whistle at them

Look at Materazzi, everytime he slips or is touched he falls to the ground, he hits Quaglariella with his leg and dives and fabio gets booked for it.

There is too much of this nonsense in football nowadays as any slight nudge is a foul like Zlatan's disallowed goal, seriously what was that about?
