Although I am a Vieri fan, I must say that Fiorentina were gifted both penalties today...something that happened last week as well...

I wonder what the brothers of management over at Fiorentina are up to :eyebrows:

The first was deserved. But the second was a shoelace foul if I've ever seen one, and Mutu went into full-body-contact dive mode. Fiorentina is not scoring "honest" goals these days it seems, and the refs keep giving them out.

I honestly would like to see referees not reward behavior that poor. I mean, how much of a stretch is it between that and when Dida pulled his late pratfall against Celtic? I know it's against every fiber of Italian culture not to protest and show you've been wronged, but it's bad for the game and fans when players go completely lazy and never play balls through the inevitable bumps and taps on the pitch -- because some clown will reward that.

Mutu was impressive for the last 17-18 months mate. One of the best players in serie A without any doubt.

Top 3 scorers in serie A
Trezeguet 13
Mutu 12
Ibrahimovic 11

And Del Piero is close to top5 with 8 goals while Zalayeta has 7 goals
They have 51 goals together in less than half season.

This hurts because once we had all of them in the same team.
Yeahh , Juventus rule :D

A hell of a performance by Marek Hamsik today.
Scored the opening goal, scored the late equaliser, 6 successful crosses, 6 shots on target, won corners, won fouls, created a bunch of chances for the others, won balls in midfield, intercepted passes, didn't stop running for 95 minutes.
And we're talking about a 20 years old central midfielder here.

P.S: Our guy in Napoli, Manuele Blasi got a red card today and he;'s the disciplinary record holder with 10 yellow and 1 red card in 13 matches.

There's another reason why we should devote our energies to signing Hamsik.
We should have done it during the summer and bought him from serie B team Brescia.
We were there, in serie B for Christ sake. We knew him, we played against him, we were aware ( or i think we were) that he's a huge talent who perfectly suits Juve's style. He was great at 19 and he could have been only better as the years pass.

And we let Napoli buy him for €5.5million while we go for the experienced Almiron and we give these 5.5 millions for the other part of Criscito.

Now, with the way he performs, his price is 3 times bigger. We'll never pay 15 million for a 20 yo kid and we won't use the advantage we have with Zalayeta and Blasi being co-owned by us and Napoli.

I doubt if he'll cost 15-20m when you add Zalayeta and Blasi into the equation.Zalayeta in particular has been a very important player of Napoli this season.I think something around 9-10m plus Zalayeta and Blasi might do.

No, i meant 15m overall, including Zala and Blasi (something like 8m+the other half of Zala+the other half of Blasi).
But i can't imagine us paying even this.

Why pay 8m euro and give 2 players when we can sell these two players for 7-8 million and buy another "Almiron" with these money ?
I'm affraid this is how our directors will think and react.

Marek Hamsik is proving himself in his very first season in serie A. He scored 5 goals and made 4 assists so far and he plays in the same position Almiron and Tiago were supposed to cover for us.
At the same time he's creative and agressive. He does the work of 2 players and he's only 20.
If we don't decide to go for him and use the advantage Zalayeta and Blasi give us over the other teams then i don't know what to say anymore.

So please, Secco, Cobolli, Blanc......please do the right thing this time.

There is absolutely nothing that can stop them. All the team can score and they actually do.
I'm not sure but this is something between 110th and 115th match in a row where they score in home matches.

And they are a proof that you don't need more than 1 creative player to create 10 chances per match and always score goals.

Beh, i don't care anymore if they win or not. We stand absolutely no chances to beat them in serie A.
Fiorentina, Milan and Udinese are our rivals this year.

Actually they don't have any rivals in Serie A this season. I think they won't have any rivals for at least two coming seasons as well.
