Probably because of the fact he hasnt scored many goals??

I dont know, personally i think he has been very good for Roma this season, they dont miss Totti when Mirko plays.

they did last Tuesday ..

ManUtd is just too good for Mirko .. he's no where near what Totti is ..

I knew somebody would say that,

I dont think they missed Totti , Fergie outclassed Spaletti tactically, he crowded the midfield and limited Roma's options, there was nothing Vucinic could do there, as he wasnt getting good service(only long balls) He worked hard nonetheless and troubled Man Utd's defence at times..Personally i felt that wasnt Totti's game. Totti's presence wouldnt have changed anything imo.

well ok good argument ..

but believe me if Totti was ready that night .. Spaletti would've fielded both Mirko and Totti .. the latter would give him that lacking service which Aquilani didn't serve ..

even if Totti played as their sole striker I believe his step backs are much better than Mirko's .. he would've done himself that service he might needed ..

all in all I totally expect that a different game would've been played hadn't Totti been injured ..

Not having a natural finisher is something that may not suit Roma's system, but they definatley need such a player if they need to challenge for trophies, and more importantly,do well in Europe. They lack that spark that one or two golden touches by a natural finisher can have on the game.

Thats just not their style though. their system is all about Totti dropping deep, and getting Perrotta and the wingers more into the game.
Trust me, I think every team needs a player who you can rely on to put the ball into the net when in the penalty area. They rely too heavily on their wingers to do all the work if Im honest.

Love them or loath them, Milan are still quite something to watch when they are in the mood.

And I'm not particularly concerned about them taking Cagliari apart. The Cagliari defence is so poor anyone could look good against them.

Man Utd are doing just fine without a natural finisher. You dont have to have a natural finisher to be successful.

You do.Man Utd have Rooney, who depsite not being a natural finisher, does get a fair amount of goals in.Then they have Ronaldo. They've got goalscorers on the pitch, and not players who'll score 10-11 goals a season, but players who'll get 15-20 plus goals a season. With Roma, that burden falls almsot completley on Totti. They have Mancini and the others, but its still a weakness in their squad.

If only we were there instead of Roma in Champions League. We would beat Manchester with these defensive tactics Ranieri has. It's obvious that an organized defensive team against a team with no natural finisher has a larger chance to win the game.
