Shows what you know..

Zamparini may be a little nuts, but Palermo have none other to thank than Zamparini for the position they are in. When they were in Serie c, Zamparini was the one who invested time and money to get Italy's 5th(or something like that) biggest city into Serie A and make them as competitve as they are now. His vision brought them glory.

Besides Zamparini's excentricity is really amusing. From his hiring, re-hiring, firing and re-firing of Guidolin to him threatening to quit every second week :D.
Times are changing, Zamparini may have brought Palermo into Serie A, but he seems to be the one who doesn't fit in there. He's making a total fool of himself.

I guess I could put this here:

Italy maintain top spot Wednesday 16 May, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Italy have consolidated their position at the top of the FIFA World Rankings after the latest list was published this morning.

The Azzurri had ousted Argentina last month thanks to their 2-0 win over Scotland, after the South Americans had reached the summit in March for the first time in their history.

Brazil moved up a position, leapfrogging Argentina into second place, while there were no other changes in the Top 10.

The next FIFA World Rankings will be published on June 13, 2007.

Top 10
1 (1) Italy – 1,606 points
2 (3) Brazil – 1,538
3 (2) Argentina – 1,520
4 (4) France – 1,507
5 (5) Germany – 1,390
6 (6) Netherlands – 1,309
7 (7) Portugal – 1,292
8 (8) England – 1,278
9 (9) Spain – 1,238
10 (10) Czech Republic – 1,170

Catania, Siena or Chievo for the drop. Parma and Reggina to stay up. The loser of Catania-Chievo will go down. As Milan will play a reserve team against Reggina, as will Lazio against Siena. While Parma are playing well and Empoli have 5th spot secured so have nothing to play for.
