Going back to the game itself, the team Sarri picked really showed where Napoli lack depth.
Mertens and Lopez are both useful players, but they can't replace Insigne and Hamsik.
Any team is going to struggle without key creative players, but you need something on the bench that it some way compensates for that lack of creativity.
That issue may not hurt them going through this season if they just focus on Serie A, but once they are back in the CL they are going to have to spend money adding some depth in those positions.
