I'm pretty sure Biglia is out for the season and keep in mind 4 days after this game, Lazio have the derby which should seal 2nd place
And Samp this weekend which is a tough game
Yeah,i'm reading now that Lotito is really not happy with the final being played this week...
Samp and the derby games are crucial and tough ones for them.
They desperately need points to keep their place in the CL zone.
Napoli only 3pts behind.

Anyone know the best way of getting to the Olimpico from the city centre? @Vialli_92?
Walk, it's not that far.

If you aren't close enough to walk straight there, get the subway to Ottaviano and walk up from there. It's about 15 mins from Ottaviano.

Coming in from that direction also takes you nicely up to the Curva Sud from an angle that avoids the likely trouble spots (usually around Ponte Milvio).

Thanks. You're the second person who said to just walk so that sounds like a plan. Google Maps seems to be overestimating how long it would take.

Any tips for after the match? I imagine one would want to get out of the area fairly quickly considering it'll be getting fairly late.

Take the Metro to Ottaviano, from there either by bus 32 which drives you directly to the stadium (get out at Piazzale della Farnesina) or you walk north

I used to be a Roma fan 2006-2012
:wth:

Thanks for the advice though. :D

Where are you staying?

I've just tended to wander back down towards Ottaviano and then jump in a taxi if I couldn't be arsed walking further or if it was late enough the subway was shut.

I'm staying near campo de' fiori.
I was almost right on Campo de Fiori last time I was in Rome.

Won't take you much more than half an hour at a brisk pace if you head from there towards the Vatican and then up to the ground.

Bars on route to break the march up as well.

Make sure and head to the Drunken Ship in Campo de Fiori to see where the Spurs fans were attacked. :D
