Pato with two early goals. The second one came after a great move and dribbling.
It's so easy to beat this below average team called Sampdoria when you have non-Italian players who know how to play football.

Guess this shows the difference between having an able striker and Amauri....
That and also the difference between having players who know how to open up a team with passing and players like ours. Look how easy Merkel and Robinho make it for the others in attack.
On the other side look at the typical new-age Italian "supertalent" Poli, who offers nothing interesting and nothing we don't see from Montolivo every week.
Look at us buy Poli in the summer.

Btw from where did Merkel pop out?

Out of nowhere he'll be in their first XI
I saw him for the first time less than a month ago, but the boy's got talent and excellent playmaking skills. They got him for their primavera from Stuttgart (not from Cosenza, Pescara, Trieste or wherever we search for talents).

I think he'll be amazing really. Much better than Marchisio.

And that crap about Italian teams not giving a chance to Italian young players.....Why does Milan give a chance to an 18 year old German? I mean, logically, they'd prefer an 18 year old Italian if the talent is the same, right?

It's now becoming a question of talent in Italy (or lack of it) not a question of giving a chance.

It's clear that there are no talents. Italy's NT looks weak and their young team has 2-3 good player and the rest is mediocre.

Yeah, the era of talented Italians is coming to an end. I don't see any new DP or Totti or Viera or Baggio etc. Could be that the kids in there don't really give a shit about sports, club life is where it's at.
