You make it sound like this happens every game, or in many games? You mention Balotelli yet Inter are full of players who instigate trouble, they have several dirty players, they have several cheats, and these players are often protected (look at how many times Samuel escapes second yellows, Thiago Motta's antics including last night, Materazzi, well, enough said), so for that reason I can see why people respond like that to Inter, but as you say, it isn't right and it isn't the way to handle the situation. The referee should handle the situation, but then if they have an extremely long leash how can you possibly win?
