It's not a troublemakers thing, its more of an arrogant about Totti. Different IMO than Balotelli who is a troublemaker.
The younger Totti wasn't like that from what i remember (talking about the 95-98 period) he was concerned with playing the game "only" back then and he was a wonderful talent.
I think the whole "arrogant attitude" with him started when the Roma fans started turning the guy to some sort of a God to them.
What he did to balotelli in that game. He's reaction to Ranieri the other day. He's becoming arrogant as fuck and thats why even though i hate Inter but i actually enjoyed the Fact that Roma have lost that game.
In Balotelli's case, though, we can't rule out the possibility that it has a lot to do with racism. I'm not claiming that's the case, but it sure seems plausible to me. So take Totti, welcomed as the new king of Roma since he was 18. Balotelli though, probably grew up with a certain amount of abuse and adversity. Put Totti in his shoes and he might have turned out the same for all we know.
The difference is Totti is more of a team player, but that might be because he's been seen as "The One" by Roma fans from the start, so he easily accepted that role.
